If you're reading this, follow my food page: fabseatery or faburlosoo! This place was great, and the service was one of the best. This place will always have a remarkable memory for me because this is a staple apparently for those who reside in St. Pete. This was my first time meeting my boyfriend's family and it was a pleasant time. The ambiance/vibe was very "dine-ery" (if that's a word) and you can tell this was a true treasured spot for those from that area. My boyfriend mentioned his grandma used to take him and his siblings here when they were younger, and the food has been 10/10 from then. I got the grits with cheese, fried chicken, fruit and Arnold Palmer. Super delish with HUGE portion sizes, I can't wait to go back!

This is a very unexpected place unless you are the local who has always lived here and knows about the place. If you are a "Snow Bird" or someone on a vacation you would pass it by. But those of us who pass it all the time know it is the place to be.The parking lot is always packed. You go inside and the place is packed. People are eating breakfast or lunch at any time of the day. And it is only open from early morning until 2pm. So breakfast and lunch is the norm here. And no matter what you order was made here. I had the hash browns and was in heaven. I even had the eggs benedict one day and that was perfect. So fresh and creamy. Nothing fancy. It is the way you expect if you stepped inside a cousins house and they were making it right then and there. And do not forget to try the grits. That is only the way you make it at home. It was perfect. Even taking some home the next day it was still what you want to have even for breakfast.Of course, I had to have a bagel. And being from New York this is what I expect. It was fresh. Toasted juist right. Had the butter on top. With a cup of coffee I was back home having what I expected I would have if stopping at the corner shop. The food here is excellent. The price is ideal. The team works hard to serve and to help. And you can tell they are related. This is a true family affair and a place that welcomes you in to give it a try. I will be back. Next on the list is Shrimp and Grits. I need to order that!

We went to Kissin Cuzzins this morning for breakfast for the first time. Tried and true delish diner food! It was hopping and lots of diners enjoying their meals. I enjoyed the garden fresh omelet with feta, hash browns and a biscuit. My hubby had the western omelet and waffle served with warm syrup. Now we need a nap! If you're looking for a solid breakfast and nice sized portions, time for you to try it out yourself!

LOOVVVVVVEEEEE THIS PLACEEEEEE!!!!Been a fan forever and always will be! This place is so important to me! They have been around forever and still going. When they closed down and someone bought it thinking it was going to stay closed forever I was so heartbroken. Thank god someone bought this family owned and took over. The food is out of this world. Southern comfort food. Made with live seasoned and spiced that will knock your socks off. The hash brown casserole is a staple in almost everyone's order when they come here, it is garlicky, herby, oniony and creamy and crispy. The biscuits and gravy is so delicious you almost want to take another togo. The whole entire staff has such a good system that not one person is left sitting and waiting. They all take care of each other I've noticed. They help each other out. When other restaurants open up they need to come here for training. The whole restaurant is a vibe. A good vibe, a vibe of every color of the rainbow coming in for a good meal.

I saw a thread on the St. Petersburg subreddit the other day talking about the best brunch places in the area, and so this place instantly became my top place to go. I'm happy to report that this is a solid pick for those who love simple, but very southern comfort food!I got the fried pork chops with scrambled eggs and the hash brown casserole (this was one of the sides highly recommended on the sub). First off, the portions are HUGE. It's kinda hard to tell from the picture, but I actually got two chops stacked on top of each other even though one would have been plenty for me. While not anything too mind blowing in terms of taste and seasoning, I really enjoyed these. The breading was the perfect texture, and the meat was moist, not too tough or chewy. I do definitely see the hype about the hash brown casserole though, they tasted super rich, cheesy, and I loved all the onions and whatnot inside!Service was pretty fast considering how busy it was on a Sunday afternoon. The only real complaint I had is it can get pretty hot inside, especially if you're eating some of the really hot stuff like the fried chicken.Overall, if you're a fan of simple, tried and true places like Trip's Diner I think you'd really like this place!

The portions were delicious and so huge that we each brought home enough for another meal. In spite of being so busy that there was a line out the door, we were served promptly with smiling faces!

Location is a great local spot plenty of seating and good thing they have the second parking lot adjacent to the backside parking. We enjoyed egg whites, grits with steak and egg, bacon with hash browns. Both the hash browns and bacon were perfectly crisp as requested. Even though sirloin isn't the best cut of meat I enjoyed theirs it was seasoned well, was juicy and for mildly medium well. We ordered a side dish of banana pecan pancake that did not disappoint it was tasty and quite large at least 10-12" served with warm syrup Yum! Coffee nice and hot brewed a bit stronger than many small restaurants. My only complaint is that I would have liked the biscuit a little hotter though I still enjoyed its density. We were there on a Saturday around 9am and our service was great we were seated quickly, offered drinks once seated, server took order shortly after and clean up prompt as well. They have this establishment running well. Our server was very pleasant and friendly can't recall her name but she's photographed in their listing she's been there for some time. We'll be back when in town again. Love small mom & pop businesses!!
