Kings Fried Chicken

The fried chicken very good not over breaded some of the best I've ever had. For the price it was excellent the dinner box will fill you up so be ready to take a nap afterwards. The biscuit was perfect nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the inside definitely homemade. The Mac and cheese was also good the texture and everything was perfect just not enough seasoning in my opinion. The food was fast everyone was friendly the business is pretty unassuming but like many hidden gems it was worth the stop.

This is the best biscuit I've eaten. I'm not sure you can call it a biscuit- it is honey sweet, buttery and fluffy!!! Also the chicken and wedges were great. This is a pick up then go somewhere else to eat- so you can lick your fingers without judgment. Thanks to my son- St. Petersburg Officer, for introducing us to this spot. Not fancy, but good eating. There is not much ambiance- maybe 2 or 3 small tables but nice service. Just get it to go and put on your stretchy clothes!!

I only bought fried chicken and the flavoring being able to pick what pieces you want were amazing. The coating is a little thinner than I expected but still really good fresh fried chicken. Quick service, easy to get to would definitely go back!

About the best fried chicken I've had in the region. Super tasty, crunchy and even tastier the next day!!! Give them a shot. No pictures....we are the food so fast! Smelled so good too

Tried it for the first time last week because for once as I drove past it wasn't mobbed. Very good chicken, honey biscuit was delicious!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Affordable.

Best fried chicken on either side of the bay. Not too greasy and not heavily breaded. The skin stays on the chicken!! Cooked perfectly. The biscuits are the star of the show! Buttery, sweet, and flaky. I dream about them! Service with a smile every time. A simple restaurant, no frills, as it should be! The food is what matters!

Accidentally ended up on 34th street due to 275 being a parking lot, and drove by Kings this afternoon. We were on our way to a friends for a birthday cake celebration and to catch up for a few hours. Surprisingly as we got in the car to head back north, I was asked if I wanted to pick up some chicken and since I had not eaten there in a few years, I said sure. It was only a 25 min drive home, so we weren't worried about it being hot, and the service was super fast. I really enjoyed speaking with the person at the counter for a few minutes and the way he thanked us and hoped we enjoyed the biscuits/chicken/fries made the entire experience great. I had a 3 piece combo and my wife had 2 piece. I have to admit, I ate the whole thing and loved it. My wife saved some of hers for later, but my guess is that by tomorrow it will be eaten.The chicken is tender and juicy, the skin is delicious. I only eat fried chicken as a rule maybe 3-4 times a year and it has to be great because I am not naive on how healthy any of this is. But everything in moderation.Fries are so plentiful and they also were wonderful. Hot, but not overly salty and parked under the chicken. Very generous.The biscuits are famous for a reason. I could only eat one for sure. Very dense, but still moist when we got it home.We will be back again next time I am in the mood.

Just ok. The counter lady was very friendly. I've only ate there once, because it's not near my neighborhood.

We had the great pleasure to stop by this restaurant. we were starving and ordered chicken and fish and honeybuns. Everything was really good and the owner seems excited about his food and takes pride in his food making. what a pleasure. I don't fill out reviews too often, but his place was great. get a honey bun for dessert if you go, like a honey soaked tea biscuit .
