Kim Bros Oriental Market

As a Korean grocery store they are perfectly respectable. A bit on the smaller end, but with a reasonable selection including all of the essentials. What sets them apart is their prepared food that they make in their kitchen. I have had their japchae, kimbap, and stir fried udon. Fresh, excellent quality, flavorful, big portions, very reasonably priced. Their pickled daikon is my absolute favorite. If you want a taste of quality Korean cooking for a good price, consider them as a takeout option.

Picked up stuff for dinner tonight... out of the huge selection available at Kim Brothers! Some delicious (made in the store) Bulgogi! Got some Tteok in the refrigerated noodle area and gochuchang to make sauce for them. And some absolutely delicious sweet potato pancakes in the frozen section. Got home and whipped it all up into an easy and delicious meal! Everything but the salad is from Kim Bros!I love this market!

First time making Japchae and ask for advice on making Japchae and it was helpful and turn out delicious!

Little market off W Hillsborough Avenue. It's a busy road, in a small shopping plaza by a loan center place. TV staff helpful and friendly. The Kimbap, kimchi mandoo and the japchae were packed, fresh and ready to eat. Found them on the counter and shelf across from the counter, by the frozen section. There have cut kimchi, but had a small plastic jar, may be more than we can eat this weekend. Kimchi is a must with Kimbap and Korean food for me. The Kimbap isn't too bad, a bit too much rice in the roll, but still tastes good. We used the leftover sauce form our tteokbokki at lunch to dip the Kimbap. The japchae may have been better or more flavorful when it was made, I should have known the kimchi mandoo was filled with kimchi and pork, not just pork. My husband ended up having to eat the rest. The kimchi is spicy and flavorful.

Love shopping local. I stopped in at Kim Brother's Grocery Store in Tampa today. Such an amazing selection and great quality.Between the delicious in house thinly sliced ribeye for Bulgogi Beef and the homemade Dumplings made by one of the gracious owners filled with beef and perfectly spiced kimchi, I was in foodie heaven.I made the Bulgogi- Korean BBQ beef tonight and had @cory_tyndall over for a yummy dinner.#shoplocal #tampafoodie #aperfectday

Omg I love this place so much, the food is the best and to be honest it feels like you are in Korea, also the service is amazing they are so friendly and amazing, and the ambience is the best again it feels like Korea love it .

Fantastic quality goods. I love coming to places like this and I spent my time looking through the aisles looking for all the wonderful things to try.This place is loaded with Asian goods (particularly the Korean variety). I saw more flavors of Soju than I thought I would. The noodles and fresh produce looked fresh and fantastic. My one gripe was that the meats (for Korean BBQ) was absurdly expensive. It probably means that the meat there was maybe a tier higher in quality than maybe what I may be used to at restaurants. I'm talking about a package of meat reaching near $90.A place like this is locally owned and operated and I was thrilled to do my asian goods shopping here.

I've been going to this market for over 20 years and I drive from Lutz Florida to shop there I'm a dedicated customer. Very nice people and great items in the store that you can't find elsewhere in other stores.

So so so so good. I would recommend doublechecking labels on expiration dates for kimchi and the prepared sides but if it's in date, it's always so good! Highly recommend this place.
