Khao Neow Sushi Thai Laos

I love this place! I have been coming here for years with my family and have brought my friends from out of town on multiple occasions and the food is always amazing! The portions are very large and when ordering the Pad Thai, you can (I'm not joking) expect to have enough leftovers to last another 2 full meals.The service is great and the staff is always the friendliest. Couldn't imagine a nicer group of people serving! When ordering be careful with how much spice you order! I have personally been to Thailand in the past and this restaurant spices it better than it is in Thailand.

Sushi is the best I've found in The eight years I've lived in St Pete Beach.Ambiance is wonderful and decor is just wonderful.Very attentive servers. What more could you ask for.My now goto place for sushi!

Food -- YES: Fresh fish, priced appropriately and perfectly plated to arrive as they were ready. An order of pad Thai was had the portion was tremendous. Another meal was made out of it. Glass noodle drunken chicken was ordered and another huge portion and very good tasting. Then we ordered 8 rolls. I was wow'd by one and enjoyed the others. We took some of the rolls home as the kids didn't particularly like them but fresh fish on the outside will do that for kids. I enjoyed it for a meal the next day. Ambiance -- OK: cute, clean and calm inside. Bathrooms were very clean and table/booth was wiped down and was not sticky. Lost part of the star for the rocking tables. We had two with our party of 7, and I was afraid waters were going to spill with every elbow resting on them. Service -- Needs Work: man if only we had a server. It was as though people ordered with them and when the food was delivered they disappeared. We were never checked in on after the food was dropped off in a reasonable amount of time- and get this, rolls kept coming and never were asked if we needed anything. It was just bizarre- like a robot made to do one task, order food then deliver.Order the Skittles (cucumber wrapped roll) and the Big Daddy. Skip the BodyBuilder as no one much cared for that one and frozen thawed spinach is not appetizing

Cute little Thai/Laotian/Sushi place on the North Reddington main drag. Always on the search for places with good vegetarian choices, we stopped in at Khao Neow for dinner. Like many Asian places, they offered a variety of dishes with choice of protein, including tofu.We ordered the Mongolian, a curry-ish dish and my favorite: Drunken Noodles. Both were hot, tasty, and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us and there seemed to attract locals (as opposed to tourists like us).Overall, a good experience and vegetarian friendly.

SUCH a cute place! And decorated for the holidays! I was in town with my boyfriend and we decided to go out for date night. I narrowed down nearby options on my trusty Yelp app and we drove over to the strip mall that 3D Sushi is located in (although it has a different name of Khao Neow Sushi out front now, so there are two pages for this location).At any rate, the place was hopping on a Saturday night in December! It took a minute to be seated after we walked in, but once we sat down, we had plenty of attention. He went light enjoying his chicken noodle soup and I had miso soup; a very generous portion of veggie tempura; the cucumber wrapped "Ruby" sushi with a watermelon boba that is so incredibly delish! We even ended the evening with mango sticky rice -- even if it's not in season, it's a guest favorite and Staff makes sure to have the mangoes on hand.Boyfriend and I enjoyed getting to chat with Leilani who is super sweet and give our props to! We all have the west coast connection and we were eager to hear her story. Good luck to Leilani and the rest of the Staff on your business!

Super yummy beefy jerky that's crisp with fresh sticky rice and spicy thick jael dipping sauce. Can't wait to come back and try the wings and thum papaya!

My companion and I felt like some Thai and decided to give this place a whirl. there was some confusion in Yelp. We thought we were going to 3-D. But it appears it is the same place as Khao Neow. We believe it is under new management and the suites have changed.Regardless, the Tom Kha Gai was very good and easily one of our top five in the Tampa Bay area. The orchids on each of the plates is a nice touch.We also had the spring rolls which are a good test of the kitchen. These had a nice amount of shrimp and you could really taste the fresh vegetables. The peanut sauce was also not overly spicy and very tasty. The shrimp wraps were well fried and had a rather large prawn inside. We finished the meal with beef larb.The Thai iced coffee was very good with an extremely strong coffee flavor, right mix of condensed milk and was very very good. The service was very good and friendly, and the inside was very open and bright. The food came out quickly and was the right amount of spice we saw a number of other things on the menu that we wanted to try and will definitely give this place another run soon.

This is our new Thai and Sushi place! The food and service was amazing...so fresh, delicious flavors, and wonderful presentation!It is family owned and operated, and the owner stopped by to check on us and to chat...she was so genuinely nice and you can tell the pride they have in keeping the place impeccable and the food memorable!

Excellent food, lovely service. The crispy duck with basil sauce was amazing! The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The seaweed salad was delicious with fresh cucumber and the sushi rolls were also great.
