I'll start by saying I've been turned into a bit of a sushi snob so, most people wouldn't have any qualms with what I notice/ think. Ken Sushi was good. Based on reviews I read, I thought I'd be blown away but, it was decent. Red flags at sushi places for me are when a lot of the rolls have some component that's tempura fried. The best thing I ordered was the sushi & sashimi combo. The portions were great, so much so that I was unable to finish everything. It also came with soup and a salad. We were able to get a table for 4 fairly quickly and didn't wait too long to be greeted or to receive our food. Pricing was good for the amount of food you receive!

Stopped at Ken's Sushi again, and this place never disappoints! The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small and quaint, which honestly makes it feel even more special in my opinion. The staff is super nice, and it's just a great spot to relax and enjoy some amazing food. This has definitely become my little hidden Clearwater gem!

Absolutely phenomenal sushi! The best in Tampa Bay (and I've tried several!). The options are terrific and the waitstaff is always friendly and accommodating, even if the space is small. Do yourself a favor and try Ken's. You will not be disappointed.

Ken Sushi offers a great variety of unique presented and delicious sushi. Each bite was fresh, flavorful, and definitely lived up to our expectations in terms of taste. However, the dining experience had a few downsides. The space felt a bit cramped, and our food took longer than expected to arrive, especially considering that a table seated after us received their appetizers and soups ahead of us, which was somewhat disappointing. Oh and my partner was pretty bummed they didn't have Crab Rangoons on the menu. Despite the wait and limited space, the quality and taste of the food made up for it, and we left satisfied overall!

Came back in on a Friday dinner time. Absolutely LOVED everything!!!! It's a small restaurant so limited seating ok. My daughter favorite was Ken's Special Volcano. I love all sashimi... so fresh. This restaurant is a really perfect spot for date night but again please be aware that seating is very limited so there might be a wait time. Dinner open time is 4:30 pm so plan accordingly. try to check out their menu and have a slight idea of what you want to order because once they get backed up, you might have to wait a little bit to get more food if you don't order all at once. Service is very friendly, and the noise level can be moderate to high depending on the people.

Ken Sushi is my go-to sushi spot in the entire Pinellas area. All of the sushi is fresh and the rice to fish ratio on the nigiri is perfect. Never have any complaints about the food. All the sushi chefs are trained well as the consistency is spot on, but my friends and I just absolutely love when Ken prepares the meals himself - PICASSO.Our go to nigiri options are: kanpachi, hiramasa, swordfish belly, sweet shrimp, escolar, otoro, and churro. I used to HATE fish growing up, but this place made me into a fish lover as an adult. Other than nigiri, we always have an order or two of the oyster boomamoto (or oyster black berry). Honestly it's all just so good. It's a quaint dining space that gets very busy during dinner, but that doesn't mean that the service falls short. They are attentive and kind. Highly recommend trying them out if you haven't done so yet.

I've been to Ken's awhile back and have decided to return. I'm not sure if it's the same owner but either way the food was good, service was good, and had a good time.Sushi restaurants these days are using lower quality products or are using chefs that don't know the proper way of storing, checking, and caring about their ingredients. I've not gone to too many sushi restaurants due to many bad experience. However, Ken's sushi is still very good. I tried their curry spaghetti, lovely flavor but I would prefer the sauce a bit thicker for it to be a "spaghetti" type dish, seems to be more like a stew; I'll count that as a personal preference since the flavor and dish was great. Will definitely return since I know they know how to care for their sushi.

Ken's will always be my absolute favorite local sushi spot! It's small but oh so mighty! I love seeing all the options of fresh fish on the iPads and trying new things every visit. The sushi isn't the only thing good though, the Thai food is actually very authentic and delicious as well. I never go to Costco down the street without making a trip to Ken's.
