Kyle was our server, absolute gem. On top of his game with recommendations and attention and a fun guy in general. He should be paid investment banker salary. Food was good, storm chaser roll was unbelievable - would go back just for that. Demon slayer sake was the perfect compliment. Would visit again.

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door. I inquired on a gluten free menu and to my surprise they have one. The manager, Brooke, informed me that she has an allergy as well and can make something safe for me to eat. I had so many options. She recommended the angel roll so I ordered that and a salmon nigiri. Everything tasted so good. The place is cute but very small. It was just what in was looking for. It is definitely on my place to go while in Tampa list.

Kelp is one of my favorite go to sushi spots in south tampa. Its cozy vibe and happy hour menu will have visiting. The storm chaser will have you coming back.

Definitely better to dine in than to get take out from here. The portions are fair when dining in and you can address any concerns on the spot with your server. My recent pick up order had two items missing including the sauce for my poke bowl, which left me with a very bland and skimpy bowl. It was only half full. Maybe they were short on produce? They also charge more for less here than the other two or three popular south Tampa sushi spots. It's been nice having a sushi spot next door to the nail salon I frequent, but I'm reconsidering the convenience.

This place is a hidden gem. Great sushi, friendly staff, and an EXCELLENT HAPPY HOUR daily from 3-7 featuring food and drinks. They also have daily specials such as $10 sushi burritos on Tuesdays. The indoor seating area is limited but they have several tables outside. They do a large volume of take-out as well. Overall recommended!!

#Yelp4Kelp I love Kelp sushi! It's my favorite spot in town for reasonably priced rolls with great happy hour deals. I love the trendy ambience and the size of the restaurant so it doesn't get overly loud or crowded. They also do a great takeout business, and their pick 2 classic rolls and an app deal carries over to carry-out orders! Always a solid choice for an affordable night out

Always a great experience at Kelp. The customer service is pretty top tier, the sushi is great. They have many menu options. My favorite roll is the inception roll, I keep attempting to make an inception roll out of the DIY burrito and failing but I love this sushi spot. This place was good - me and friends went for dinner. The service was absolutely personal and fantastic. Lots of good food options and we tried some off the menu options that the server (Jeremy) suggested as well, such as the Jeremy Roll.Their happy hour makes your early dinner incredibly affordable, but its affordable either way. Its a cute little spot in a strip mall, with limited seating inside, but its cute and there is some outdoor seating as well.

I had an amazing first time experience with kelp sushi jointThe Tampa location is very small with a few seats but I went inside to pick up my picnic box to bring to the beach I chose Mexican roll, salmon avocado , rose cave and bronze pebbleThey don't have dynamite roll which is usually my fav so I chose options similar to it. They were so great! The sushi was so fresh and all the sauces it came with were perfect . Also the crab Rangoon was bomb The manager was very kind and even added in an extra spicy sauce for me to try This sushi is so good!
