Kazu's Sushi

Out of the different Japanese restaurants that I've been to in New Port Richey, Kazu's is by far the best in my opinion. Food is always top notch, service is always friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is always so comforting and inviting. Even as Downtown New Port Richey continues to evolve, the one consistent thing is how good Kazu's is. I got the Pork Katsu-Don and it was delicious. Portion size is really generous, with a thick and hearty pork chop and a very generous portion or rice. You definitely won't leave feeling hungry after eating the entire contents of the bowl. Keep up the good work, guys! :)

Had the Eggplant agadashi as an appetizer and the fish flakes in it was "waving" as if it was alive! So cool!We had a sampling of a variety of Sushi and not disappointed. You will really enjoy the food and service at this fine establishment.

The food is always good and fresh!! Service is good and the ambiance is normal. There isn't much else to say except that I like going there.

Food was good. Sushi was well made and the prices were good. Little bit lacking on non sushi items and was a bit of a struggle to get others of my party feed. Wait staff was on point even though it took over 30 minutes to get our sushi out to the table as the chef was in the weeds. Non sushi items were out in approximately 15 minutes. Again the staff made the time spent waiting seem to pass rather fast but I would have liked to eat as an entire party. I would return with the hope that the chef wasn't in the weeds.

Excellent food and great service! The ambiance was chill and relaxing. Sushi was the bomb ! Teriyaki chicken was made to perfection!

Best Japanese sushi in tampa area. It's been a while since I've been there but my latest visit reenforced at belief. It is run by Kazu and his sister. Excellent sushi. Also is training restaurant.

This place is a gem, they play old Japanese movies and the sushi is better than anything you'd expect from Florida, let alone Pasco. If you're a sushi snob, Kazu is your best bet, better than most places in Tampa.

It is what it is - a sushi restaurant in the heart of YEE haw New Port Richey. The seaweed salad is allegedly vegan. It wasn't the best I've had, but that one dumped me years ago. Other options include: avocado roll, cucumber roll, spring rolls, etc.Outdoor seating available! Cold domestics on tap! Kind wait staff! *located next to a very loud bar (The Social), which I didn't mind, but you might. Street parking available.

Best sushi restaurant around. Great service. Friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere with cool vibes.

Terrible experience. We've been going here periodically for a few years. The service has always been slow and the food was just ok. Not great, not terrible. Tonight with a party of 4 we waited 25 minutes before anyone bothered to take our drink order. We were also told many of the items in the menu were not available because they didn't have a sushi chef. Because of this, 2 of us ordered entrees and 2 ordered sushi. About a half hour later the sushi arrived. An hour later we still had no entrees. This will be my last visit.
