Kahwa Coffee

It's been more than a minute since I've been here-and that was via the drive-thru. This time I went in-and I'm super glad I did. It's bright and welcoming inside-as is the staff. They greeted me with a smile and enthusiasm on an early morning-and we could all use a bucket of both on a Monday. I went with my standard-chai tea latte. It was piping hot and ready in seconds. The Kahwa version isn't my all-time favorite, but it's a solid blend. Last time I was here (about five years ago), I had a breakfast sandwich that was very good. Today, I was already too full for food. I know-foolish me-but I'll come back and make up for it. This place is clean, with nice spacing between tables for people working on laptops. The prices seemed fair and I like that there's some merch. (I love to shop while I sip). There's private parking and, as mentioned, a drive thru. I'll report back on future food offerings.

Good ol Kawha. Great coffee, great casual ambiance, and even a drive thru.I appreciate Kawha for keeping things simple and just providing a consistently good coffee and a comfortable place for people to gather or work.They have pound cakes, muffins and cake pops to satisfy your sweet tooth along with sandwiches and quiches for a little more sustenance.

I stopped into today with a friend for coffee. We had some time to waste before church and found this close by. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The baristas were friendly and helped me decide on an iced latte which was delicious. This would be a great coffee shop for getting some work done or meeting up with friends. I will be back!

I used the Too Good To Go app for Kahwa and got a surprise bag. I went through the drive thru. The barista offered me some water. The other barista was gathering the goodies. I received some pastries and muffins for a good price. Everything was fresh and yummy. I did share my goodies. I would go back because the staff was so nice.

Coffee ambiance is great. Comfortable seating. Lovely plants indoors. A bit pricey. It would be 5 stars if the prices were a bit lower. Will come back again. Pastries are also good.

Delicious drinks!!! My bf and I really enjoyed this coffee shop. Friendly service. Clean atmosphere. It just felt like a vibe. We grabbed our coffees and then walked along the river walk that was nearby.

This place is NOT what we expected!! First off the dude waiting on us was in a hurry. Rude. Secondly, the place is grossly overpriced and dirty. There was food on several tables and greasy prints on the windows that looked like it had been there for weeks. I see why everyone wants to eat outside. Lastly, the coffee tasted bitter and not fresh!!HORRIBLE experience here. Will not go back! Too many other places that are not dirty and have way better coffee in this area!!

I called to place a catering order. I got placed on hold and got disconnected. I called back and I got a message saying the number could not accept my call. After calling and selecting the catering option twice I called and chose 3 the "bakery associate number". The person answered the phone and said - Hello - I waited for them to say- Thank you for calling Kahwa Coffee. Instead there was just awkward silence finally I said is this Kahwa coffee? And the employee oh yeah it is, I asked if I could please speak with a manager or if a supervisor was available to speak with me. The employee hung up the phone and I tried to call back again and got the same message that the number was not taking calls. I got referred to this coffee place and was very happy to try them out. I'm a GM for a boutique fitness concept we were looking forward to doing "morning coffee with us". I guess we will be going to Starbucks not my favorite but they answer the phone and the job gets done.

Having spent my entire life in Tampa, I've observed a consistent deterioration in the standards of Kahwa franchises, both new and established. Despite a year-long absence of no longer going here, my recent visit to this location left me disillusioned once more. Kahwa, once a celebrated coffee destination in South Tampa, has seen its reputation decline over the past four years. The service I received was subpar. I requested my pastries without being warmed, intending to enjoy them later. However, I was left waiting unnecessarily long, only to be given warmed items. Normally, I would have taken the wrong order and left, but this time I insisted on what I had ordered.The staff's unprofessional attitude was evident as they disregarded the time-saving option of not warming pastries and just threw new ones in the bag. Let's not even broach the topic of my iced latte, which contained a significant layer of syrup at the bottom before i began to stir it. Ordering at the drive-thru i hadnt had time to check before I took a sip and was met with a mouthful of pure syrup. The pastries was nothing to run home to either. The croissant was quite small as if it wasnt proofed long enough,there were no layer flakes and was dense. The leak pastry wasn't as bad actually, kind of enjoyed that one a bit. overall i need to remember not to go back here and waste my money because its not the same as before.

Definitely coming to this neighborhood staple which has the independent coffee shop vibe rather than a large chain. Friendly service and they make sure that they get your specific requests accurately. Retro music typically plays in the background. Love the iced matcha latte. Also like the chocolate croissant and hot London Fog in the past both of which were great.
