Solid place in downtown Tampa for some Middle Eastern food. I was actually impressed with the flavors and quality of the meat. Order the large mixed grill plate with fries and side salad. The proteins were pretty good.Chicken kebab juicy and solidMeat kabob delish and flavorful Beef kafta pretty goodChicken kafta was alrightLots of food but for a lunch option was up there; I'm guessing this plate is possibly for two prices at $29. Great service although I ordered to go. Will definitely come back and shoot for the lunch bowls instead; I think that's the reasonable price point @ $18

The sweet woman took my order. She was kind, friendly and helpful. I got a small hummus and a shawarma wrap -- I can't remember having a shawarma wrap this tasty! my goodness it was so good!!!!! I also got a Lebanese coffee with lavender and it's divine. Shockingly great. The food came out super quickly. I had to wait on my coffee but it was worth it :) The waitress gave me a water while waiting on my coffee. Big help! Why shocking? It has a street cafe vibe and ya never know how those go! This went amazing! Yummy factor! This location is actually on Tampa St behind Ashley Ave. It says breakfast on the windows. There is outside and inside seating. If you sit down, you still need to go up to the counter to place your order.

We were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott down the road, just walking around looking for breakfast options on a beautiful Tampa morning, when we stumbled across this little gem. The sign for a Gyro called to me, and our party of four agreed this may be a an interesting morning gestation treat. The gentleman behind the counter was super kind, very helpful, as we navigated menu selections. I asked if a gyro was available for breakfast hours, and his "of course" response was so welcoming and friendly. See photo, but it was one of the best gyros I've had in years, and I've had them all over the country. Generous portions of meat, and there was plenty of tziki sauce within despite the picture looking barron. Flavor supreme, and quite filling for the $10 price. Our table guest went all in on the Mediterranean super plate (not the name of the dish, but what I've since dubbed it). This was just a bit of everything you'd like to see, and a handful to finish by himself but he put on a great effort. The hummus was just perfect in both flavor and texture, some of the best I've had in a long time. The eggs were such a deep and interesting color, they just spoke of being different or super fresh. The owner came out to personally deliver each dish as completed, and gave just a little tutorial on the origins of the meal and prep. It was interesting to hear and his passion for his lands' food was clear.Their specialty fresh-bottled orange juice was a real treat, with just the right amount of pulp. Wish we lived nearby, I'd eat that gyro once a week.

A bit tricky to find, since the address says Ashley St, and it's actually on Tampa St., but since I had been here before when it was Falafel Inn, I knew where to go. Only metered street parking is available nearby. They have what I consider to be a standard Mediterranean menu - gyros, shish kabob, shawarma, etc. with all the basic salads of hummus, baba ganouj, taboule, etc. The front counter you order at is directly across from the front doors. The counter person could have been more friendly and/or welcoming, however at least they were efficient. There are tables to sit at inside and out, but my friends and I chose inside for the refreshing air conditioning.I ordered the fattoush salad, with cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, green onions, green peppers, radishes, and mint all finely diced, with a lemon juice and olive oil dressing. The dressing was extremely tart, almost too vinegary, and I would definitely get that on the side next time. I also ordered three falafel balls on the side to go with my salad. They were outstanding; so flavorful and perfectly cooked.Food came out surprisingly quickly and I enjoyed my salad, prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was cool and clean, so I will definitely be back.

So me and my fiancé got the same gyro and mine was not edible. The meat was so hard and unable to eat and his was good. So not sure what happened but not consistent and not recommended. Highly disappointed.

The food was so good that I'll just get the reasons for the one star I deducted, and then I'll rave about everything else.First, the constantly open doors. Bad idea. When you walk in, the ordering counter is about 5 feet from the door and all you feel is the humidity behind you on a hot day. It feels muggy and uncomfortable while ordering. The open door also allows for TONS of little gnats to get inside the restaurant. My daughter and I were swatting them away during the entire meal.Lastly, I asked to replace the rice with a salad and they still served me a huge bowl of rice. No salad. They weren't busy. That shouldn't have been missed. The good stuff! The meats! Man, they're delicious! We had gyro, beef kebabs, and steak kebabs. They were all tender, juicy, and incredibly tasteful! The veggies were wonderful! The hummus and tzatziki were delicious. Pitas were fresh. Everything tasted freshly-made and simply delightful.I'd love to live closer to this spot to order from them once in a while. I've been here before they changed their name and I loved their food back then, too.I'll be back for more delicious meats!

Wow! This place is great, the food is DELICIOUS! So flavorful and abundant. The owner explained everything pictured, it is all house made. Service was great! Had my birthday breakfast here. There's many things you can choose from from but I suggest the Lebanese breakfast and a lavender vanilla latte!!!! Definitely will now be a regular visit for me.

Pretty good! I got the chicken kebab bowl, beet salad, and coconut cake. The flavor of the chicken and rice was very good! The portions were huge and I have enough for at least two more meals, which is good because it is a bit overpriced. I will definitely add this to my delivery rotation for when I want a healthier option quickly.

The place was empty for a reason. Paid $20 for the worst shakshuka I have ever had. Tiny portion and pre-made. In addition, they didn't have half of the menu. I give it one star just for the lady at the register for being nice. Not recommending.
