Kafe Kokopelli

Haven't been here in years but I love the food, ambience, and service is wonderful. We came for lunch and ordered fried Calamari and Prime rib dip and French fries for $1.50 extra instead of chips. The Calamari was a tad overcooked but still enjoyable hence the one star deduction. The Prime rib dip was delicious, and since we were sharing it, our server brought us an extra plate and two dips. Our French fries were cold, but our server checked on us promptly so she was able to replace them promptly with delaying eating our lunch. The decor is quite eclectic with numerous animal heads and hanging door dividers and pictures from yesteryear.Very enjoyable place for a meal.Parking lot is small and street parking is not plentiful.

What a cute and eclectically decorated cafe. We started with some brunch cocktails which were hand crafted and amazing. I had the crab bisque and Caesar salad, but were seasoned wonderfully. Our server was kind and knowledgeable, and we over all enjoyed our experience.

Had lunch here on our way through town. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu and they have a soup/salad/half sandwich lunch special. My husband enjoyed a chicken Caesar salad and I had a cowboy burger. It had 2 thin burgers. I enjoyed it - but couldn't quite finish it. The server was attentive and efficient - she had a lot of customers.

Start by saying Mike the server was amazing . Knew his menu and answered questions and directed in the right direction. Food was amazing started with she crab soup which tasted like crab and a nice clean cream sauce . Was very surprised at how much i liked it dash of salt was spectacular . Then my buddy and i shared pork chop and stuffed meat loaf . Both delicious in their own way . Asked for pork chop medium . Was told they don't do temperatures . I was like oh here we go (was gonna send back if over cooked) it was perfect cooked thru but tender and spot on . The Meat loaf had a fantastic texture and flavor almost like eating a piece of steak the cheese stuffing was so so good . Am on my way back sometime this week .. look forward to trying something different and did i mention the ambiance it is like and old lodge meets the lost boys home. When you see all the antlers you'll know what i am talking about .. this i definitely a 6 star place . Put it on my Favorite list

Came here with some friends today. We got there early and had heard that they made a great old fashioned. I have to say they were tasty. For our meal I had a prime rib with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was good not great. The prime rib was tender but I wanted more flavor for $38. Overall a good meal but I will probably order something else next time. The service was great and the staff very accommodating and they have a band the first Friday of the month which is when we were there. Great atmosphere and a lot of locals which tells me it is a great experience. Will certainly be back.

The ambiance is spectacular!!!! All kinds of different things and I love to sit and just look around at everything!Alejandro was our server and he was very attentive and really nice!On to the food....this was not our first time eating at Kokopellis and we always loved the diverse menu. Different things like duck, venison and more and everything was always awesome but that's all changed. Still different choices but the waiter said they have a different part of the restaurant now that has a different variety of food. I wish I had know that prior to booking my table.For starters we had the French onion soup and the she crab bisque. Both were very very good! You know there's real crab in the soup when get a piece of the shell in it...lolI had the veal Marsala which was ok. Nothing to rave about.My husband had the Cajun Alfredo and it was simply blackened shrimp, sausage and chicken in a regular Alfredo sauce. Not any type of Cajun seasoning and we have been to Louisiana enough to know the food there.It wasn't bad but not at all what you think.The portions were ok and the prices ok as well.I was very disappointed in the menu options as well with mediocre food. I am sure we will go back to try the new addition but not anytime soon.We always were very very satisfied but after a few years it's just not as good.

Need an in between location to meet cousins? Yelp to the rescue. Cool atmosphere and my Diet Coke was never empty. Great lunch specials and I chose a half buffalo chicken sandwich and gator bites. It was a perfect lunch size and I'm impressed they're not contributing to our obesity problem. The sandwich was yummy. I usually don't order tomatoes out as they can be more like cardboard. These were ripe and delicious. The gator bites were soft and perfectly cooked. A great spot with wonderful staff.

Have been several times as a great meeting place between west coasters and central Floridians, but would go here on our own as well. Most recently 2 couples met and had delicious dinners and the fried green tomatoes app. The beef bib and bleu salad was a hit with 2 of us (I was a bit envious when I saw it come out). The other two meals were fish, I had the grouper taco and it was tasty! The last person had the salmon over quinoa and cleaned their plate as well. The decor is fun, makes your experience cozy and homey, and I like the variety of seating options. This time we were in a booth that felt like we could have a private party inside. Our server was friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The whole experience was great. Burgers were tasty. Staff very friendly and great ambience.
