Food was great. Service was trash. They weren't prepared for a large crowd so the wait was long and the Asian waitress catered to a table she knew personally. We had to wave down the waitress every time we needed something. She never came by just to check on us. I'd try this restaurant again during a not busy timeTo see if the experience is better

The Basics: K- Chicken and Grill Korean BBQ is a Korean restaurant with Korean BBQ Grills on the tables in Carrollwood off of N. Dale Mabry. It is $34.95 per person for all you can eat Korean BBQ.Things I like: We ordered the all you can eat Korean BBQ meal where the whole table can grill unlimited meats and it comes with unlimited sides as well. We ordered the beef bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, top blade, and prime beef brisket. The meats were enjoyable, but the top blade and beef bulgogi were the most flavorful out of what we tried. We also tried as our sides the gyoza, donkatsu, french fries, shrimp shumai, and korean fried chicken. My favorite sides that we tried were the donkatsu and the honey garlic korean fried chicken. The gyoza and shrimp shumai were fried and did not taste very fresh. Things I didn't like: Overall, I enjoyed our meal but I wasn't blown away by anything we tried. The sides did not taste very fresh and the meats could have been more flavorful. The servings were plentiful, but I wish the servings were more mindful of the number of people at the table. For example, we got a large portion of each meat we ordered, and I would have preferred smaller portions of each meat so we could try more variety. Overall, I enjoyed our visit to K- Chicken and Grill Korean BBQ, but next time we plan to try the bibimbap instead of the Korean BBQ.

A unique experience in Korean food. Our party ordered the AYCE which turned into two hours of gluttony. I do wish the entire table didn't have to order that way as some of us were not that hungry and wasted food. The Beef Bulgogi with steamed white rice was great. Joyous is a wonderful and attentive server.

K- Chicken has AYCE Korean BBQ with great choices of meat and marinated sauce. You will like their small dish banchan. It is a plus to the AYCE. In addition they included the Korean Fried chicken in the same price. On top of that, they also include the Korean steam egg, gyoza, shrimp shumai, pork donkatsu, and vegetables for the grilled. I like the AYCE offer. The happy hour price also available. The meat included the thin slice pork belly and beef brisket, thick pork belly, beef bulgogi, top blade, pork shoulder, spicy pork bulgogi and chicken bulgogi. Those are good choices. We eat a lot. Love the bbq with food on the entire table. They allow you to order four meat dish then add as you need. Overall is a good experience. Solid 4 stars.

3 things about this place:1. I've been looking for an amazing Korean spot in Tampa and haven't found one yet. The other Korean restaurants are good but not great. I have decided to try this place for a while and had the time to do it. From outside, the place does not seem big, but when you go inside the restaurant, it is more spacious than you'd expect. The staff were extremely friendly and greet you with a warm smile which was a plus for me. I was seated right away and was delivered with a cup of water. The price is extremely fair and the portions of the foods were fair. They are closed during the day to serve the most fresh foods for that night and cut their meats almost every day also.2. Deep Fried Dumplings, Korean Fried Chicken with a side of sweet and spicy sauce, and Beef Tripe Soup were ordered. All the orders came out fast and didn't have to wait that long. The dumplings came out extremely hot and was very crispy. The sauce was well prepared to go with the dumplings. I was really amazed at the Korean Fried Chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce. The chicken was well marinated and just eating it without any sauce was good too. The sweet and spicy sauce is very hard to make and this place made it to perfection and not heavy with the gochujang (Korean pepper paste) compared to other Korean restaurants. Beef Tripe Soup was HUGE. The flavor was perfect and the vegetables and the tripe were very fresh. If you don't clean the tripe well, there will be some odd smell but didn't smell any of that from the tripe. They cleaned it very well and I can see the passion for what they serve to customers. 3. Second time I came and had the AYCE Korean BBQ and the meats were all fresh also. For that price, you can't really beat that. Comes with appetizers like fried chicken, steamed egg, and a MUST to get is their Korean soy bean paste soup. It's an additional cost but definitely worth it. Overall, highly recommend this place to anyone wanting Korean food. I've been to different Korean places in Tampa area and nothing beats this place. Will be back to try different items on their menu and found my Korean favorite spot in Tampa!

Our family's Saturday night was transformed into a delightful Korean culinary adventure at K - Chicken and Grill Korean Restaurant. Upon entering, the inviting ambiance set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The beautiful interiors and cozy atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our family dinner. We were promptly greeted by the friendly server and seated with menus and refreshing glasses of water. To kick off our Korean dining experience, we opted for Korean beer, a perfect choice to complement the array of flavors we were about to explore. Alongside the beer, we indulged in a Kimchi Salad that was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The salad was fresh, flavorful, and served as an excellent precursor to our main courses. The arrival of Gimbab and Pan Fried Dumplings added an extra layer of excitement to our table. The Gimbab was a delightful combination of textures and tastes, while the Pan Fried Dumplings were a testament to the chef's expertise, delivering a burst of flavors with each bite. Our main courses, Dolsot Bibimbap and Korean Style Fried Chicken, took center stage, and they did not disappoint. The Dolsot Bibimbap was a symphony of colors, flavors, and textures, presenting a perfect Korean salad in a sizzling stone pot. The Korean Style Fried Chicken was a crowd-pleaser, featuring succulent, flavorful chicken that left a lasting impression.Throughout our dining experience, the service was attentive, and the staff's hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. K - Chicken and Grill Korean Restaurant has undoubtedly become our go-to destination for an authentic Korean culinary journey. In conclusion, our family thoroughly enjoyed a delightful Korean feast at K - Chicken and Grill. Highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable Korean dining experience.

I can't eat as much as I used to, but I still love AYCE joints. KChicken is a Korean restaurant and bar surviving traditional menu items in conjunction with an AYCE grill option. The regular menu items can be hot or miss, they likely focus on the AYCE part. Service is just ok,oftentimes you have to stop them to ask for things. There is also a time limit, so that makes it a kind of AYCE. You can get brisket, bulgogi, pirk belly, and other meat options. I am a brisket fan so I go that route. They supply you with 3 types of sauces, lettuce, and rice. You also get side dished like kinchi potato salad and other items. Ypu can also get side dishes like dumplings, korean bbq chicken, and hot pot egg. Overall, service and food are similar to other AYCE grill options in the area. Since the extended family likes coming here though, I'll still show up to grub!

Kids loved it here. We got galbi and all the ban Chan was so yummy. Tried a few soju flavors and also the japchae. Wish we could have done the grill but with the tiny kids it's not a smart move we opted for the precooked food and it was well worth it. Our waiter was very kind and answered the throngs of random questions my kids threw at him all while taking our order and helping us pick items as well.

I went here back in 2021.I did not do the grill but I had Kimbap and beef bulgogi! It was so amazing! After having great service and amazing food I ended up returning here over the years multiple times. I highly recommend utilizing the grill! They even have an early bird special for all you can eat at just $25

I love their AYCE BBQ.I came here with four other friends and we ate so much meat. Make sure you come with at least two people who can cook or else one person is stuck cooking a ton while everyone else eats (and you don't want to end up being that person). Their banchan is very good and there are tons of appetizer options. We got some Korean fried chicken, which is the only thing I wouldn't order again. All the meet we tried was delicious. I loved the beef belly and the marinated rib eye. You can ask them to change out the stove top if it gets too dirty from all the cooking (which we did once). We made reservations for 7:30 p.m. on a Wednesday for five and they laughed and said we probably wouldn't need it. They were right. It wasn't super empty, but it also wasn't packed. You can keep ordering all the meat you want, but they do say you have a time limit of two hours. I don't know how strict that is, because we definitely didn't have the stomach capacity to continue ordering meat past two hours. They ventilate this place well, but you will still leave smelling like meat. It's clean, cute and large. Super easy parking
