The cutest and best place to order your taiyaki! The owner is so friendly and beautiful! She's a boss lady and very good at making your taiyaki with love. It has many flavors to choose from and always changing! I also love their monthly markets whenever they have one! This place is perfect to rent out for parties. Bring your family and friends here to enjoy this amazing, delicious place!

So, there's a new treat in town. Juju Taiyaki just opened at the end of August 2022. Have You Heard of Taiyaki Waffle Fish? This is the cutest little Japanese Snack Food. It's a Waffle shaped like a fish & it has a sweet filling inside. It is crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. This portable snack is perfect for on the go because they are the size of your hand. Cost: $3 for Single. They also sell as 1/2 dozen and dozen. See my pic for prices. You can also message ahead of time or call ahead to preorder and pick up. Flavors: Nutella, red bean, guava and cheese, Ube, custard, and cinnamon. I picked Nutella, Guava & Cheese, & Nutella. Nutella was my fave! You can bring eat them right away, or take them home and toast them in the air fryer.Location & Day: Find these amazing taiyaki fish at Juju Taiyaki. It is currently a pop-up every Monday at the Baking Box location in South Tampa. You can also find them at K-Deli right next to USF. They carry them there in their fridges, & just take them home and warm them up.Definitely don't hesitate picking them up. The only other place I know off hand to find them in Tampa is in the freezer section at MD. These don't compare. They are fresh not frozen. Also served with a smile! I tired them at Bloom on Franklin. They were very friendly and provided great service. This was my first time trying a mini sapin sapin. It was soft and delicious with a subtle sweetness.

So excited to find taiyaki here in Tampa Bay!They are the perfect dessert, and with multiple flavor options everyone can find one they love. We tried all (6) flavors today! They're made hot & fresh to order, and the fillings are made fresh as well!The traditional red bean was perfection, and a fusion style Ube (Purple Yam) was my absolute favorite, but I can't not mention the cinnamon! The filling is like a warm, buttery cinnamon roll! Nutella, yeah that baby speaks for itself! The owner told me she is from the Philippines, and has mixed this famous Japanese street food, with flavors from her childhood. LOVE THAT! The pricing is so affordable, and you can get them in singles, half-dozen, or by the dozen(s). They're great to grab and bring to the office, or anywhere to share with your foodie friends!10/10 would recommend, and I can't wait to go back and watch her business grow!

These delicious Japanese sweet treats, taiyaki, are made with waffle or pancake batter, cooked in these fish-shaped molds to a crispy, golden perfection and filled with different kinds of fillings. Traditionally red bean paste, custard or chocolate are the most popular. I tried both the red bean and ube (purple yam) and both were so good but I think the ube was the my favorite. I definitely will return to try the custard and coconut. You may grab this treat only on Mondays at The Bakery Box Pop-up.
