Drove over 20 minutes just to see a sign on the window that read "due to a high volume of orders it is pre order only". Called the number, and no answer. Came at 2 pm on a Tuesday.Waste of a trip!!

Tucked away at the far corner of us highway 41 and Lutz lake fern road is John's. I have been going to John's for a long time now and I don't think John works there anymore. The guys that do work there are keeping up the tradition. They are closed Monday so they can cut the meat. They have a nice selection of meat and I pick up delmonticos from them a lot. Nice flavor and great price, they are local so stop by and spend some local money. Simple fresh beef. That's the secret,ground that day. Juicy and delicious. Every time I go I end up getting a stick of jerky too. Do yourself a favor and swing on by, grab a steak and enjoy.

It's a hidden treasure. I am new to Florida and coming from Chicago I was happy to find a real butcher. John's is just under a half-hour from my house (13 miles) in Wesley Chapel but well worth the drive. He has a beautiful selection of meats and cuts. The gentleman that handled my order was just that; a gentlemen. I highly recommend John's Butcher Shop.

John's is truly a hidden gem. We love their charcoal steaks. They're the most tender and flavorful steaks I've ever had. Order a burger. They'll grill it for you while you wait. Get a tub of salad to go with it. Take it to the little park . It's within walking distance.You won't be sorry if you try this little gem.

My husband and I visited John's Butcher Shop today for the first time. We purchased several different items including pork spare ribs. We made the ribs tonight using the same recipe we usually use for ribs. Taking our first bites, we realized these ribs are the best we have ever eaten. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Mike for the quality of meat you sell and the time and attention you give every customer.
