Joe's Produce & Deli

Just discovered this place on Yelp, even though it's only a couple miles from me. It's tucked into a small strip overshadowed by a huge gas station / store. I made it a point to check it out - and I'm very glad I did! This is really a hidden treasure.Going in the door was like walking into a candy store, so many goodies. Fresh bread, pastries, savories and more. I was immediately drawn to the huge beefsteak tomatoes. They looked wonderful and absolutely were, as we couldn't wait to have one when I brought them home. I cannot justify buying hard, force ripened ones from grocery stores.And that was just the beginning! Sweet corn, squash, cukes, green beans and do much more. I was a little pressed for time so only filled one bag but I will be back. A huge variety of fruits, Greek and Arabic specialties, and a large deli area. I did want to try their Spanish soup - next time. And I didn't have time to check out all the coolers and shelves. I spotted some delicious looking cheesecake but had to turn away, we are starting back to WW this week and have not been watching our diet closely.

Used to be a great place for fresh fruit and veggies and special items at reasonable pricesThe store has changed hands and while the lady at the register was wonderful the fruit and veggies have seen better days I went in for cherries that were advertised at $1 per pound and when I got them home and took them out of the bag fully half the bag was full of mold that was not visible from the outside so it went into the garbage I will not return and I was going here over 10 years

This place was pretty cute with a nice deli (boars head), some prepared foods, produce and even specialty items. Many of the freezers were empty, which made me wonder if they are struggling a bit. My biggest complaint is that the owner very creepily checked me out -- looking me up and down almost cartoonishly and making a comment about his day getting better now -- right in front of whom I assume is his wife or GF. He goes: "Now I'm in trouble!" She was clearly mad and the situation was very tense. I was so uncomfortable that I didn't want to peruse the whole store but bought a small salad and left. Bonus: The wife was the one who rung me up. I won't be going back due to that incident.

It was a great find at a local produce store sells farm fresh eggs in addition of fresh Florida vegetable and fruits. I also found handful selection of Asian grocery items I purchase frequently at MD Oriental at Pinellas Park. These all makes Joes my to-go produce store at Oldsmar. The store is tiny but filled up with plenty choice of dry goods and frozen food. There is also a deli section that sells fresh sandwich pairs with a small salad, made to order or prepacked. Price is reasonable. Owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty parking outside. The only complaint is the traffic can be a bit headache during rush hours if you intend to turn west to Tampa road from Forest Lake.

I love this adorable little market-- I pick up whatever produce looks good and I also recommend the spinach pie and potato salad. They carry some canned and jarred items you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere. The only downside is the checkout process usually takes awhile, but everyone in there is really nice!

Cute! Has most of what you need. Nice staff but did need to go to another store to get some basics! Boiled peanuts were yummy!

How this place got anything other than 1* is beyond me. I visited once on May 7 & would never bother visiting again.Store had very little selections of produce & what was there was poor quality, some rotting, that was more expensive than every single market I've been in. If you want a store-made sandwich, they do have a deli attendant to do so, but I don't know costs, as I don't eat processed meats. Some fresh, sliced white bread, but you can get the same, cheaper & with more variety at Publix.Rotted potatoes & onions, store smelled awful... I left with 1 head of lettuce, which wasn't good... brown inside, so 1/2 needed to be discarded. It's also a 30-min drive from me, so I'm disgusted that I ever bothered.Hate this place. It offers poor quality food for more than Publix.0* out of 5.You stink, Joe's.

Joes is the best around you have to try it. Great prices and even bette food. Awesome staff and cook must try

The thing I miss most about living in Oldsmar is Joe's. Moved to Tarpon 2 yrs ago and the produce stores don't compare. I still drive to Joe's for stuff I can't get anywhere else. They have stuff I can't get anywhere else. The staff has always been so amazing! Love going in there. I tell everyone about Joe's. The deli is great too.

People at the front desk were horrible!!!! Totally egnormed me, the the other 2 women just standing there and BS....NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!!
