Joe’s New York Diner

Came here for the first time this weekend. I ordered eggs and home fries that were pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the Rueben sandwich with fries, which he liked. I especially liked the fries, they were crinkle cut and had seasoning which was really good. Oh and the chicken rice soup was really delicious. It was packed in there but the service was still good. I would come back if I'm in the area.

This was an overall disappointment. I've liked Joe's in the past, but this was not good.We ordered a club sandwich, chicken parm sub, and chicken tenders. The club sandwich looked good but the veg tasted like old refrigerator. The chicken tenders were soggy and pink on the inside. The chicken parm sub was fine.

One of us was in the mood for liver and onions. So we went to Joe's NY Diner after a long day at work. Hot chocolate was AMAZING! We ordered Chicken Parmesan and had plenty left to take home. The menu is huge - with anything you'd ever want or could think of. Great service provided by Michele.

I was in the area for an errand the other day and just had to visit Joe's again. It was just as delicious as the first time, service was super fast and friendly and it gave me my New York diner fix.

The atmosphere is super cute with that classic diner feel and the waitress was very nice and friendly. You don't have many 24 hour diners so it's nice if you're out late and need a place open. The menu is huge. You have breakfast classics, sandwiches, pastas, it's like a little but of everything. Big portions and for a diner it tasted healthy, nothing tasted greasy but at the same time it lacked flavor. The hashbrowns were interesting it was like potato shavings but they had no seasoning at all. The omelet was kind of blah as the veggies were raw. The biscuit was good. It was edible it just lacked any flavor. I wouldn't get it again, but I liked that it wasn't greasy traditional diner food.

I've been driving by this restaurant for years, and finally went there today for lunch. They have a very extensive menu and have something pretty much for everyone.Joe's is small but has plenty of tables. It really did have an authentic NY vibe going. The booths were perfect for a place with Diner in the name. Unfortunately, we were bothered by a fly or two, but that happens sometimes.Our server Gabby was very attentive and smiled throughout. My friend ordered the Chicken Parm and I ordered the Fish & Chips. He commented that the Chicken Parm could have had more flavor, specifically garlic, but said it was good and the portion was huge. My Fish & Chips were perfect. The fish was fried to perfection and was very tasty. The French fries were frozen, but well cooked and were hot and crispy. They didn't have malt vinegar, but the tartar sauce was good. To my delight, they serve Coke products - always a winner in my book. We both had leftovers and Gabby was more than happy to give us to-go cups of Diet Coke.They weren't overly busy on a Friday at 12:30, but they had a steady stream of customers while we were there. We both found parking right away. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu!

This is a great corner diner here I'm busy Florida Avenue outdoor dining weather. It's perfect a beautiful breeze today having my egg white omelette with spinach and mushrooms and sliced tomatoes on the side just perfection.

Joe's NY Diner is a definite must try! It is open 24 hours with an awesome retro theme inside and out.Although they were packed and busy when we got there, the service remained stellar. Our server Gabi (I believe that was her name) kept up with us and made sure we were good throughout our entire dining experience. I got the country fried steak with home fries and over-easy eggs and my gf got biscuits and gravy with the same sides as mine. The food was so tasty and fresh! I got to also connect to their TouchTunes jukebox and play some 80's hits to add to the vibes. This place is a must try!
