How awful to arrange for them to come out to my office from 11-2 but have them pack up and leave without notice an hour early. This left everyone that was scheduled for a 1:30 lunch without food. When we noticed at 10 minutes to 1:00 that they had closed their window we told them we had a whole shift of people getting ready to come out. Didn't matter to them, I guess. The food was good. Everyone who was lucky enough to eat had nothing but good things to say. But customer service is key and disappointing that many people is no bueno.

Who forgot to bring enough food to the festival and sell out mad early? Jimmy's, that's who. Go big or go home!

Y'all, I live for the days Jimmys Sliders comes to my work! Great tasting food with a great price! I usually get the half baked and either the Korean or the Southerner. The half baked has this garlic herby cream cheese that pies perfectly with the homemade tomato jam. When you bite into the slider, you get a mouthful of herby flavors with the coolness of it being cream cheese and a slight sweetness from the tomato jam. The Korean has a nice Korean bbq flavor with coleslaw that will give you a lil freshness when you bite(kind of like when you take a bite of a salad and you get that crunch and it makes you feel all healthy and what not). The southerner has the simplicity of bbq and fried onions, it's done so well that you get the flavor in every bite. Don't get me started on the house made chips. These lil bad boys are so yummy and seasoned so nicely, my mouth waters just from smelling them. Soooo yummy! If you ever have the opportunity to try Jimmys Sliders, DO!

We arranged to have him out to our office park about 250 people between the three companies. We wanted them to be from 11am to 2pm but he refused, he did end of staying until 1:30pm. When he first arrived it was asked if he had any vegetarian options, he said I can if they are requested ahead of time, ok great right, nope not so great, he told me in a email that he did well and would come back a couple more times even gave me dates, when asking about the veg options , because he wasn't coming back until Oct, was sent a long rude email about how dare i ask him to change his award winning menu of 5 yrs, that he doesn't tell me how to do his job so why would try and tell him, and that if people don't eat meat they can go elsewhere for lunch that day!...hmmmm I just asked about veggie options ahead of time like he said we had too........ There was a lot more said in other emails, needless to say we asked him not to come back and he replied "well I didn't make any money anyway and good luck getting trucks out" award winning or not, just lost business and got a bad review - even my staff said no way he wasn't that great it was a burger lolFYI we are booked with trucks until the end of Oct and none of them have every been this nasty.

Loved Jimmy's Deluxe slider. I wanted MORE! I ordered the 3 sliders for $10; for the Deluxe, Southern and Mexicali: they were super good. The fries are tasty but the uneven sizing made them not so great. The buns could be warmed up. Still, I loved the patty and how fresh everything tasted. That homemade ketchup is a must!

Tried this place out on the recommendation of my husband while at the Carrollwood Burger Festival and I am so glad I did. They have several interesting options in slider size so you can try different kinds. You can order 2 sliders and homemade chips or do 3 sliders for $10. They also have avocado fries which I'm sure are awesome. They were out of sides this night so I got the 3/$10 deal with the mexicali, burger du jour, and my fave- half baked. Each was amazing, perfectly cooked and had its own unique taste. 3 sliders was more than enough food to fill me up (my kids each were full after 1 slider a piece!) so they are not tiny. I really liked the sliders and hope to catch them again to try the avocado fries!

Wish I could comment on the food but they packed up and drove away an hour and half after the event started.I was told they were upset due to competition. Boo hoo. Very unprofessional. It's ok though, Westshore Pizza was here so I got to eat after all

Follow me through the halls of Tampa General Hospital to the secret elevator that leads down to the parking garage under the Emergency Department. There in the darkened bowels of the hospital you'll find an ever-changing collection of food trucks pulling in to serve lunch and dinner to the hospital staff, and those in the know.On this particular late afternoon I spotted Jimmy's Slider Truck which specializes in freshly-made hamburger sliders served with homemade potato chips and avocado fries. Now I confess that I have a weakness for grilled cow served on a bun, so I was totally in Heaven when I found a food truck specializing in all beef sliders served on potato buns. The menu has seven regular slider choices, and one special Slider du Jour to feed your carnivore cravings. Note to those of you who do not eat meat, Jimmy's Slider Truck only serves all beef burgers, so you should probably look elsewhere for tofu and grass clippings. You can choose the Plain Jane burger with cheese and beef on a potato bun; or the Bourbon Breath with sweet bourbon bacon, jalapeno pepper and homemade ketchup; or the Korean Castro with Cuban Mojo citrus slaw and Korean BBQ sauce; or the Mexicali with avocado, American cheese, Sriracha mayo and lettuce; and the list goes on and on! You have the choice of ordering two sliders with a basket of chips for $8, or three sliders for $10 -- and you can mix & match on the sliders. If you don't like their homemade herb-seasoned potato chips, you can also order breaded and lightly-fried avocado fries served with spicy mayo.Very simple menu served out of a food truck staffed by two great guys. It's inexpensive and fun to eat, and worth searching out this truck at a food truck festival or lurking in the garage at Tampa General.

I hired Jimmys Slider Truck through Roaming Hunger. My experience was outstanding. I never used a service like this before. I was skeptical and worried at first. But it all worked out perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. The burgers and chicken sandwiches were were great and the options were so tasty. Too many great ones to choose from. Will DEFINITELY use them again. Nice people too.

--- Short Synopsis ---Delicious sliders and great homemade chips!! All this at a reasonable price! I would recommend the 2 sliders with homemade chips deal, so you can try their well seasoned and tasty homemade chips. Although the sliders are all good, I enjoy the Korean Castro, Bourbon Breathe, the Half-Baked, and the Mexicali the most.--- Detailed Review ---This truck comes to my work every so often, so I have had them a few times. Aside from the constantly rotating special, I have tried their selection of sliders and there isn't one I dislike. Their sliders are not too heavy or greasy, so you don't feel bad or groggy after you eat them. My favorite slider is the Bourbon Breathe with the crispy (sweet) bourbon bacon, jalapeno (cream cheese) popper, and the housemade ketchup. This combination is delicious and tastes even better if you add some housemade potato chips to the slider. The rest of the sliders are also delicious, but if I had to choose more to recommend, I would also recommend the Korean Castro, the half-baked, and/or the Mexicali for something I don't see often. The homemade potato chips are well seasoned and the fill half the box if you get the 2 sliders with chips deal. As suggested before, you can also put the chips in your burger for a nice crunch and flavor if you so desire.Although not the cheapest sliders/burgers, it is worth it considering the quality of sliders & chips and the fact that it is a food truck. Food truck prices tend to be a few dollars above their restaurant counterparts. With this in mind, I feel like their prices are reasonable.Regardless, I recommend coming here if you see this food truck and getting the 2 sliders plus housemade chips deal!!
