Jimmy's Neighborhood Restaurant

Jimmy is a delightful hidden gem in Tarpon Springs Florida. Tonight was my third time there. Autumn was our waitress. She was friendly and outgoing and gave us excellent service. I ordered the cheeseburger medium rare and it was cooked to perfection full of flavor. The fries were nice and crisp. My two friends both ordered the house special pizza made all from scratch. Full of flavor and fresh ingredients making the pizza top notch. The menu consists of Greek and American food. Always pleased with the service and food, this spot has become a regular stop for me and my friends. I highly recommend it if your in the area. Outside seating is also available. Best Key Lime pie ever.

Ive loved in Tarpon Springs for nearly 15 years, and ai FINALLY went to Jimmy's. Its a neighborhood grill, so it was time to check them out.We sat Outside, it was nice, no issue with too many mosquitos, but they're a fact of life in fla. So it was a nice evening under the stars and umbrellas.We came on a Friday, a bit after 6, and the place was busy. When we left, it was full. There are reasons for it, really, the food is good!We started with olives and feta cheese, and the serving was huge! I took more than half home. I also took home most of my calzone with ham and cheese, while my husband took home over half of his captains platter. The scallops tasted like scallops, not the usual punched ray wing. The shrimp were huge and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I know for sure aill be back

Possibly the best pizza I ever had in Florida! Impressive and welcoming staff and a great menu with so many food options. The restaurant gives you a great family feel.

You aren't going to find a better place to be when you want to be surrounded by wonderful people and wonderful food. Everything is made from scratch and with lots of pride. You'll never go wrong here.

Jimmy's Neighborhood Restaurant is a casual place frequented by locals. It is not in the touristy areas like the historic downtown and the sponge docks. Instead it is of the beaten path in an unassuming spot in a residential area near the elementary and high schools. My friend fell in love with Jimmy's on a past visit to Tarpon Springs and she wanted to introduce me to a place that she loves.If you are in Tarpon Springs with its rich Greek heritage you are going to want to eat Greek food and Jimmy's does not disappoint. They serve a variety of Greek, Italian, and American favorites. Popular dishes include octopus, pizza, wings, pasta, burgers, and Greek salad. Several TVs make it a favorite place to catch a game with friends. The walls are decorated with photos and a mural harkening back to Tarpon Springs sponge diving history. One of the best things besides the food at Jimmy's is the welcoming atmosphere and warm service. We slid into a booth and started off with a glass of wine and their fantastic complimentary bread. For my meal I ordered the homemade lasagna special ($13.75). The portion was so large that I could barely make a dent in it. The delightful combination of the creamy béchamel, tender pasta, and robust meat sauce melded together, creating a rich, comforting, and satisfying dish. It even came with a crisp and refreshing house salad. It was an amazing evening with friendly conversation and delicious food. Jimmy's is well worth seeking out if you want to experience the "real" Tarpon Springs.

The octopuses was delicious and their Greek salad was very interesting and good, I had never seen it with potato salad in the bottom of the lettuce.

Jimmy's is an old-school American diner with strong Greek influences. We had missed lunch and was feeling a little "peckish" as they say, so we stopped for a snack. We went to Jimmy's because they claimed their Greek Salad was the best in Tarpon. That's a bold statement. It comes with potato salad under lettuce, tomato, green peppers, cucumbers, red onions, and black olives. It was very good. I enjoyed it. The best in Tarpon? I'm not sure about that. It paired well with the Tzaziki and pita dish, which was very nice. We also had the mussels appetizer, which I did not like. The mussels were a bit tough and hadn't been cleaned enough. IYKYK.The interior is everything you would expect from diner-chic; nondescript booths, plenty of tables and countertop seating. It was almost empty when we arrived, but by the time we left an hour later it was PACKED. Even the tables outside were fast filling up with locals. Our server was cute as a button and very nice. We are definitely going to go back to try an actual meal soon. Worth a stop!

Well the reviews I read about the pizza were spot on. Very pleasant staff answering the phone and they got my order right. The pizzas were very well done with a nice crust, great sauce and lots of cheese on them and an over abundance of pepperoni. Didn't take my usual pictures as it was a grab and go order but next time.

The best Greek pizza ever!The locals know where the good stuff is and Jimmy's sure delivers. From the homemade complimentary bread to their entrees, Jimmy's food all tastes so good and homemade. Can you please come open a store in Pembroke Pines? We had a small Greek salad with potato salad, We thought that the creamy goodness was from the feta and dressing but it was the amazing potato salad. Greek potato salad does not call for mayonnaise. I could have just had that salad with a slice of bread for dinner,it was that good. We asked the young waitress what she liked best and she said the spinach pizza. It was popular on Yelp too. We ordered it with sauce instead of white and It was a ten. The crust just like I remember from a Greek place on Highland Street in Worcester, MA. The sauce is the key to good pizza and this was excellent. The cheese has a nice stretch to it and together this was an amazingly good pizza. I ate the rest for breakfast yesterday after I toasted it up in a pan, angels were singing over my head. Next time I'm in the area, I'm getting their famous Octopus, more clam chowder, pizza and I'm intrigued by the rice pudding. We found this place on Yelp but as soon as I saw the Patriots pennants , I knew there was more to the story. Nice to know that Jimmy is from Framingham, MA and brought his family recipe's with him! It felt like we were home. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

My husband and I were spending a couple of days in Tarpon Springs enjoying the sponge docks area and the neighboring towns. We had great meals every place we went. Our last night we found Jimmy's Neighborhood Restaurant on Yelp. It was amazing. We really liked the food, the vibe, the service and the value. I'm truly jealous that we don't have a cool place like this in our neighborhood.Highly recommended!
