This breakfast place was a short walk from our hotel and the menu looked pretty good. That is about where our luck ran out. They were understaffed which for breakfast isn't a big deal and we had plenty of time. We ordered our coffee and it arrived timely. The entrees took almost 40 minutes to arrive. One of the orders was wrong but it was passable and the thought of waiting another 40 minutes wasn't happening. The Benedict was decent and side potatoes were the best part of the meal. The breakfast skillet had raw onions and wasn't great. But we made do and called it a day. Would liked to have tried the dinner menu as it looked like the hotel operated the breakfast at Jimmys.

Pros:-Coconut Shrimp was cooked well-Rice was flavorful-Decent kids menu (decent options)-Waiter was nice but forgetful-The restaurant is close to the beach and had cute, beach-themed decorCons:-Broccoli had little to no flavor and needed to be cooked more-The orange sauce with the coconut shrimp was meh... it needed some lemon and herbs or something-Potato options are not available until 5 pm-Bread and butter not available until 5 pm-Waiter forgot multiple items-Prices were a tad high but understandable since it is close to the ocean (just could have been more flavorful in some parts)Overall, this place was okay, not great but not terrible!

I had high hopes for Jimmy's Fish House & Iguana Bar. It has a fantastic view of the water which is the most redeeming quality of the restaurant. The food was mediocre and I think the pretzel iguana is fun but expensive for salty bread. To be honest, Jimmy's is a bit of a tourist trap. Go there to get a bite to eat, but just set your expectations that you are going there for the location, and the "Jimmy Buffett" atmosphere. Also, there is no military discount.

I came here one night because I was staying in the hotel and it was raining so I didn't want to venture out. I was really excited to try the grouper, shrimp, and scallops as I had tried grouper for the first time on the previous night. I was sorely disappointed. The grouper was thick and dry although decently flavored. The shrimp and scallops tasted good but the scallops were tiny and I only had two of them. For a $35 plate I was not impressed at all. The Caesar salad was the best part of the meal, however could have been better served on a larger plate as I was struggling to mix the dressing in without spilling the salad. While a beautiful location with great service and even a singer performing cover songs, it was not somewhere I would return to. Three stars for great service and views!

I really liked this place!!!!! We chose to sit outside, even though it was a bit windy, and were very happy with our choice. The views are great and the music is at the right level.Our server was excellent. The menu has a nice variety of specialty drinks, appetizers, sandwiches, etc. I started with an Iguana Pina Colada, which was a Pina Colada with a green swirl. It was very good. My husband and I shared the crab dip and the coconut shrimp appetizers. The dip was warm and gooey and served with tortilla chips. Excellent choice. The shrimp were ok, probably cooked a bit too much.Overall, great atmosphere, service and food. Would definitely return.

Ocean front seats really nice , view is beautiful! But food , we ordered seafood feast 34$ only have 3 shrimp small ones , 2 small scallops! One piece fish , rice is raw , not done I guess . We both Oder this entries so bills is 108, plus 20$ tips ! It's expensive and not good !

I just left here a couple of hours ago and the food was delicious. Started with EZ peek shrimp that didn't make the photo because we were that hungry, I wish they could've add a little more old bay but I know everyone's seasoning levels are different. The dozen oysters were delicious and fresh along with the drinks. The service was great and the patio was spacious and the view is even better.

We came here to enjoy a nice dinner with a great sunset view. And we definitely got that along with very very slow service. We obviously arrived early enough to get a great sunset view table, and we didn't want them to take their time so we could enjoy the sunset, but damn our server disappeared and was nowhere to found for quite some time. We started off with their Trio Sampler. It came with Coconut Shrimp, Florida Grouper Nuggets, and Gulf Fish Spread. The coconut shrimp was out of this world, the fish spread was salty and very delicious. We also ordered their Coral Reef Calamari. These were lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned. I ordered their Blackened Florida Grouper with a side of broccoli and island rice. The grouper was perfectly grilled and seasoned. The grouper was juicy and very filling. I also loved the rice that it came with. If you're coming for the views this is definitely the place. If you want fast service look elsewhere or come with patience. I can definitely see myself returning next time I'm in town.

Incredible place on the waterline live music.THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The wait (without a reservation) was shorter than expected. The service was OUTSTANDING! We had 2 people with allergies and the server was so knowledgeable about every ingredient in every dish. Her recommendations were perfect. All 10/10. Will be returning next time I'm in town for sure!

Second day open after the Hurricane. Food and drinks were fast and delicious. We ate outside, hearing the waves crashing was perfect. The service was spot on, they are very happy to be back open. Definitely give these guys a shot! I had the blacked grouper sandwich and the wife got chicken tacos (subbed the grouper for chicken), both were great. The rum runner was nice and strong. Will definitely be back!
