Excellent sandwiches snd friendly service. I ordered online and it was ready when I arrived.

My first review showed the "promise" at opening. I want to love it, it's closest to my home, but I'm having issue with high lunch prices, pre-ordering, the drive-thru, the limited bread option and balance within the sandwich. Their crusty bread is a "hard chew" for this soft roll preferred eater. Gourmet to me means choices within homemade or artisan breads. Pre-ordering is done via email which is not easily accessible when driving nearby. The drive-thru window is not permitted for ordering for those not into the tech routes, sitting in the back, then picking up. Limited inside seating means picnic tables--and wading through picnic tables & eaters to order inside the tough sliding door. Hours are a measly 11-2 and there are days I've driven by and believe they're closed for the day (like Saturdays). Their muffuletta was not enjoyable--unbalanced meat/cheese ratio and not wet enuf both times I tried it. I've been happier with their hot sandwiches than the cold ones but have stopped going all together, since nothing calls my name and "to go" and hours are a pain in the butt.

This spot is game changer for Lakeland! From the convenience of the drive thru to the quality of the ingredients, there's absolutely nothing like it in Central Florida! I love the little interior with history and black and white photos as well as the patio so I can bring my pup along! My favorite sandwich is The Scarpa's Italian. It is insanely delicious! There are so many more that I have to try and report back on. Jessie is so kind and knowledgeable, even getting out the orders quickly without skimping whatsoever when they pile up. If you're looking for a quick meal on your lunch break or a casual spot to meet friends at outside, this is your spot!

I drove by Jessie's for weeks before opening and it's truly one of my favorite spots now! I was so impressed when I first stopped by and now I have gone again at least 4 or 5 times since...it's THAT good. I think this spot is perfect for lunch time. I love how the menu has a variety of hot and cold sandwich options, as well as salads. If I had to recommend one sandwich, it would be the chicken pesto- hands down a MUST try!Overall, this place is great! It's a small, friendly, chic and such a homey vibe!

Jessie's Gourmet Sandwich Cafe on Edgewood is open! The Cuban and Scarpa's Italian were very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a lunch spot.

Excellent food: Chicken breast Parmigiana with roasted peppers and onions with a hint of garlic sauce on top of a brioche bun!!! As an Italian- this rates high on my flavor profile!!

Such a nice sandwich shop! Me and my mom stop there every time we visit my cousin in Tampa! Definitely make the trip worth it! Sandwiches are always fresh and delicious!

Come here weekly and I would give it a 4.5. Every time it is great and the food is always delicious. Everyone is super friendly and I like that they have a pickup only window when I'm on my lunch break for work. When I have time I love being able to go in and eat too! Very clean and there's plenty of seating. I can honestly say out of all the times I have gone maybe 3 of them have been okay but I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a yummy sandwich or a salad.

Delicious! The girls in our office did this for lunch yesterday because Jessie's finally opened a couple weeks ago. I got the Cuban, chips and a cookie. The Cubans was neatly wrapped and pressed. The cookie, albeit looked over cooked, but was soft and very tasty. My only complaint if they don't take orders over the phone so we had to come in person with an office worth of orders and wait on them to be completed versus showing up to grab and pay. (Online ordering apparently starts Nov 1st.)
