About everything I could want from a Middle Eastern grocer, except perhaps a greater selection of baklava and sweets. However, their tea and coffee selection--especially tea--and their syrups are spot-on: I use a lot of Middle Eastern syrups and while many grocers have only rose and jallab, they have others here including the Tayeb mint syrup from Morocco. Their selection of all else--canned goods, honey, spices, olives, pickles, jams is very good as well. The store is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, too.

What a cool & spacious international market! We decided to stop in after our visit to Saigon Bay which is in the same plaza (Terrace Oaks Plaza). I'm so glad that we did.I think I was just as overwhelmed as others. They have more items galore from the EMR than I've seen in any other international market. There were imported tins of sweets that would make great gifts. There's a whole area of locally made bread from Holy City Bakery, and other bakeries. I think I was mostly surprised to see an entire section of various brands of medjool dates. My mother was a big fan of fresh dates. I wish she was still around to try them with me. This is something I will definitely return for when I have more time to shop. There is also a butcher shop with lamb filet mignon, burger and cheese kufta rolls, and these pretty lamb Turkish delight creations. They are all perfect for grilling.I ended up getting a box of instant cardamom masala chai. It's the only way I know how to make it. Haha! There was an inexpensive brand called Tea Break. I think it tastes better than QuickTea. That spicy cardamom totally awakens your senses. I need more of it. It may end up being a daily ritual for me.Definitely check out this market if you happen to be anywhere near 56th Street and Fowler Ave. This whole area has become a magnet for all things international.

After a fantastic, Shwarma, sandwich and fresh falafel across the street, you know I had to come to the market. My husband and I went in and spoke to the butcher. I need to have Lynne cubed meat. Of course he says let us go and pick a very fresh lamb leg. He butchered it for us cut it into cubes gave me the bones made some beautiful lamb chops as well. Great job clean and it is halal.Of course we didn't leave with just meat. You need the fresh cheese pies from the front counter as well as the mamoul cookies along with some chocolate halva and more fresh pita bread.

Interested in visiting a huge, spotless and complete Middle Eastern market hidden on eastern Fowler? This is THE spot! Wow!I was overwhelmed by the incredible amount of imported and locally baked goods in this grocery store. Meat? Bread? Vegetables? Fruit? Grains? Pasta? Canned goods? Spices? Everything is here in a spacious place. I met Aya, the kind lady behind the counter. We chatted and she kindly explained her name means two things in Arabic... the most beautiful one and a verse of the Koran! Thanks Aya for the beautiful conversation!Life is good with a new international grocery store in Tampa!
