The food is usually good here, however today I am NOT impressed. I ordered a whole chicken via uber eats and I received two drumsticks and a thigh! This place is wack. I have let other mistakes fly with this place, today I am officially done!!! Do NOT go here.

The jerk chicken is juicy, and not too spicy. The cabbage is also very good with the chicken flavor to it. It is served with chunks of carrot and thyme.Large portions, and friendly service, at a great price point! There does not seem to be outdoor seating, and definitely nothing indoor. it seems to be more of a to go spot. They do offer ladies night on Fridays with a DJ and drink specials.

Good vibes for connecting with friends over brunch, which was exactly my latest experience. Good food and great price for the Sunday buffet. The variety of options was appreciated and everyone in the brunch group was pleased with the experience; some were first timers. Good service.

Every time I come to this location, I always have an issue with my order. Today's issue is that they are out of red sauce. If you are familiar with Jerk Hut, the red sauce is a staple that comes with most dishes. I honestly would not have purchased my items via DoorDash if I had known. It's okay to run out of items, but this location must never get shipments because one time I called, and they didn't even have chicken, and it was a weekday before 5 p.m., lol. It's not a busy location, and I can see why. It's basically a pickup location with no seating or tables to check your order. Customer service sucks. Just do better JH!

Jerk Hut has like 3 or 4 locations. Personally, I like the drive thru location in South Tampa but I was in the Seminole Heights area. Seminole Heights location where you park & go to the walk up window. The order taker was very pleasant. It took less than 10 minutes to get my order. My oxtails dinner was very and tasty. You will get a lot of food for the money. Cabbage was good. As well as the mac n cheese. In the future, when I think about it, I will revisit this location.

Just don't even. This restaurant is located in an area that defies sketchy. We saw open drug deals and people passed out on the pavement outside the restaurant-it did not feel safe to exit the car, not that there was any need as the restaurant had already closed an hour before advertised closing time. Do not go here. We're from London so we don't scare easily but this was something else.

I am going to be as fair and balanced as I can about this review. Highlighting the positive and being frank about the areas that need improvement.First the good: Jerk Hut offers a much needed market for those of us who love and crave REAL West Indian food. When it comes to Flavor, portions, and authenticity of dishes Jerk Hut is to be applauded. Their Jerk Chicken is smoked and infused with such "back-A-yard" Caribbean goodness that it is finger licking down to the bone. Their Curry Goat is second only to mom's down home, slow cooked, homemade, REAL DEAL meal. The curry goat is PACKED with all the familiar island flavor you would expect from the dish.Their Jamaican Pattie is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.I mean when it comes to the taste that Jerk Hut delivers, I have NOOOO COMPLAINTS!The NOT SO GOOD:All that to say my complaint is not about taste or service but PRICE compared to what you get in the Curry Goat meal. The meal costs about $22 a plate. With that you get curry goat, and choice of 2 sides And they give you a good portion. However what you get in terms of the meat itself is INCONSISTENT! It's a roll of the dice. One day you may get lucky and actually get a plate with meat on it. But in my experience more often than not you get MOSTLY a lot of SKIN, Fat, Tissue and Bone.SKIN AND BONE!You have to go on a treasure hunt to find the rare and precious pieces that actually consist of decent meat. By the time you separate all the inedible pieces you are given you are left with very little meat and alot of rice (or whatever your sides may be). And for $22 (not including tax) that's not fair to the consumer and I actually just paid for a plate of SKIN and BONE.... (AGAIN)Unfortunately, this will be my last time taking this gamble. I will not be back.NOTE: Curry Goat can be fatty and the secret to getting good pieces of delicious meat is in the selection of the goat and the cleaning of it.Which is why homemade is usually always the best.I would have really liked to give this rating 2 1/2 stars but that option isn't available to me.I'm hoping that Jerk Hut improves their standards.$22 would be worth it for the taste they provide but not for the content one is often given. And what is provided should be CONSISTENT (And I don't mean consisting lacking). That's all. Thanks for reading.

Food was delicious, cashier need to be trained in customer service. Ordered jerk chicken, curry chicken and oxtails. Oxtail taste was good, but too much fat was left on the meat...
