Service was good in this lake side bar/grill. We stopped in for lunch with the locals. Coworker had the Ruben special and enjoyed it. I had the "huge" fish sandwich grilled. However, maybe it's the Texan in me or because it wasn't the fried version, but it seemed pretty average to me. There was an outdoor stage so I bet this place is a ton of fun with live music. I just stopped in while in the area for work.

The service was excellent, prompt, and friendly. The ice tea was delicious. I had a fish basket, which was very good.I wouldn't hesitate to go back when I am in area.Domestic draft happy hour during day. Looks like night specials all you can eat catfish after 4pm daily.But call before to make sure.

Went at dinner time. Sat outside and staff was great to deal with. Got a steak with the chicken tortellini soup. Soup was good. Steak was slightly over cooked. But still tasted good. And the green beans were tasty. Will def go back.

We come every yr for over 5 yrs. Last 3 yrs we've only come once (stay across the street). Hamburgers are over cooked and tasteless, salads over dressed, only well liked food was the fish. As ALWAYS poor service with enough staff so that it should be excellent ( would someone train their servers and take their phones away while working?), can't understand how anyone gives them anything over a 3 star. Just read their food inspection report from Oct. -11 violations of basic maintenance and they passed.

Mediocre- Patty melt was good but house chips were tough and hard (not fresh). My husband's medium rare burger was well done and tough. His cold slaw was good. Nice view of the lake but food could have been better. Service was ok. Not bad but not great either.

Friendly staff. Excellent menu options. Place was busy but staff was up to the challenge. Look forward to stopping again.

My favorite in the area. Love the vibe, but especially love the seared tuna (meal) and the steak bites (appetizer, add grilled mushrooms and onions if you like). Or ask any of the locals at the bar...as with all the places around these lakes, I wish someone would take better advantage of lake views, but at least here we have a screened in porch that looks over Lake Henry (Lake June is across the street)...service also excellent, always well staffed....heading back there today!

Good service but food was horrible. The worst experience I've had in a restaurant ever!!! The bathrooms smell like dead rats and they clearly try to hide it. The new owners should have never taken over

If you want the most amazing burgers and steaks look no further than this hometown bar/eatery! Tucked away on Lake June Road they use only fresh beef from Hartzel's Meat Market (a third generation Lake Placid treasure) and about as good as it gets. The service may not be the best sometimes but the smiling faces, ice cold beer and local southern charm more than make up for it!Feel like seafood? Try their amazing Ahi Tuna, Mahi, or shrimp and for a little local flavor, the gator bites are a must! Cooked to perfection, fried up juicy and tender, they never disappoint!Need something easy on the wallet but tasty and satisfying, they have weekday Specials with something for everyone.On the weekend they usually have live entertainment and they pour the drinks strong and have a nice variety of ice cold beer. If you want fancy, and like to walk around with your nose in the air, this is not the place for you, but if you're looking for good BBQ, great food and excellent company, you all come down and see what you've been missing!
