I ordered the fried wings, fried shrimp and fries and the strawberry shortcake. Food was freshly made and well seasoned. Wings and shrimps were good size and the meal was worth the price I requested for my strawberry shortcake to be separated with the cake in one container and strawberries and whip cream in the other container.I was not a fan of the cake from the strawberry shortcake as it was dry but it may be better when eaten together. I was given a complimentary bottle of water due to my wait... I ordered prior to getting there and the food was not ready. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Southern food good for your soul... if you're in Tampa and you craving soul food make a pit stop at janniemaes cafe located on 22nd st across the street from Middleton high school parking lot you want be disappointed oh yeah and believe the hype too
