Very good food with pretty straightforward service. We enjoyed the curry goat and jerk chicken very much. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The rice and peas was good and a nice foundation for the delicious curry! The beef patties had the "made from scratch" flavor and was absolutely delicious! I'd for sure order again!

I visited as part of a class assignment involving food truck vendors and also as someone who had never tried Jamaican food. It was a wonderful experience from the great server and cooker known as Alan to the brown stew chicken dish. They are very caring and understand how important it is to bring different dishes to areas such as Wesley ChapelIf you are looking for something different and tasty, look no further and give them a shot.

I decided to give this restaurant a try due to the stellar reviews. I'm actually insulted that the word Jamaican is even associated with this restaurants name. The brown stew chicken was more beige than brown. The cabbage was way too hard. The festival tasted old. I appreciate that the plantains weren't oily or soft but they did seem undercooked as I got hints of ripeness biting into them. The rice was very mushy. Rice and peas? More like rice and please refund me. The spices on the jerk chicken were actually nice and the chicken was pretty tender. In conclusion, this place was whack. You can't call yourself a Jamaican restaurant simply because you make a nice jerk rub when you're obviously lacking in other areas. I'm convinced that others were either held against their will to write a review or all the reviews are from friends/family trying to be nice. I can't testify to the customer service area as this was ordered through Postmates but making Jamaican food is definitely not their speciality! To top it off, this food gave me the worst stomach ache and nausea. 0/0 would not recommend. Signed,A Haitian woman who is absolutely disgusted

My cousin recommended this great food truck to our family group. I stopped by today and the food was made to order. Great ingredients and very authentic. Hot and filling. I will be there again soon. The owner and staff was very thorough and personable. Please do yourself a favor and try it out. You can also call in your order then pick it up. I will be back soon.

For many years we've gone to Jamaica every summer, landing in Montego Bay and hiring a car to take us to Negril. On one of our early trips we asked our driver to stop for meat patties...he said the best ones were at Juci Patties in Lucea. Our driver walked up with me and told me I needed to "order like a Jamaican"...which was getting a Pattie inside a sliced coco bread, with a slice of cheese. I did as I was told and it just blew my mind how good it was. It's an annual stop for us now.I've been trying to find that taste here in the states for years, without success...until today. I ordered two Pattie's and two Coca breads from "Jamaican On The Go" on Uber Eats after seeing some good reviews. I dashed to my door, bread knife and two slices of cheese in my hand, and headed straight to the table. I was looking forward to the next attempt at capturing our "home away from home" without getting on a plane, but I was ready to be disappointed. Notice there is no picture of my food? Yeah. That's because the second I had the absolutely perfect, soft, and WARM coco bread in my hand I was in love. I sliced the bread up, steam stillRising from it, slid a spicy beef pattie in, slapped the cheese on it and went to town. IT. WAS. PERFECT. Soft, sweet coco bread, crispy, spicy pattie, creamy cheese that melted immediately. Pure perfection. It was gone before I even thought of taking a pic...but there's always next time!

The food is authentic and delish!!!!! The owner is pleasant and will make you other Jamaican dishes not on the menu if you let him know ahead of time!!! I ordered the oxtail with peas and rice, steamed cabbage, Mac and cheese with plantain, my daughter had the curry chicken with rice, plantain and festival, and my son had the jerk chicken, peas and rice with Mac and cheese and plantains. I also picked up a pattie w/ coco bread... this truck did not disappoint!!!

If this is that food truck across the street from Target on E County Line Rd then 5 stars all the way! This was my first experience with Jamaican food and I had to try the patty! Even the mild beef patty still has a bit of a spiciness to it but nothing overpowering. I'd say it's about as spicy as General Tao's chicken. The flavor is is wonderful, the owner is very nice, and the two-for-one special on Thursdays is probably the best deal in Hillsborough County.
