One of the most historic buildings in Tampa. It's regularly used to hold events including weddings and also for Italian Club fundraisers. I visited recently for the WineFest and still find the building very charming. I like that it has elevator access even during a busy event and that each room looks different. Bathrooms are always clean. Support Tampa's history.Recommend!

Came here for a wedding where every floor was utilized. Was very impressed with the space and the food offerings. A great time was had by all! There were many great photo ops around every corner and the building was very well taken care of and clean. Would recommend it since there were also elevators available. I wonder if they can rent one floor out at a time lol

The Italian Club was founded in 1894 as a home for prominent Italian Americans trying to get settled in the area from Italy. They came here to socialize and unite as a group to stand strong in their new surroundings.Today, this is an event space that people can rent for events and weddings. This is also one of the many haunted spaces in Ybor!

First of all, I need to start with saying how awesome the architecture is. When you walk outside and see the Italian Club you almost feel transported back in time when this place was the cultural hub for Italians that migrated from Italy. It just has that old quaint charm to it.On the other hand, I don't know if this is most optimal location for certain events. Weddings? Maybe. We had a company party here and it did not quite meet our needs. We had to split the party between two floors so dinner was on the second level and dancing was on the third. Or vice versa. I don't know. It was just weird because after people had a few drinks they had to navigate between floors. Imagine that in sky high heels. There was an elevator but it was pretty slow so most people just opted to take the stairs but it definitely was a few flights. Not the most ideal situation.I think I'd stop in here for an event hosted by The Italian Club. I don't think I'd book a private event here.

I have produced over 700 events and I have never had someone not call me back to produce an event at their venue. I wanted to bring Emmy award winning comedian, Leslie Jordan, to the Italian club for Tampa pride and I could not get Mark Stanish to call me back. I tried a dozen times to get this venue to call me and I finally gave up. I will host another sell out event with Leslie in Atlanta! Too bad for Tampa

We were happily surprised to discover the various ethnic backgrounds in Ybor. Living in Jacksonville, we miss a lot of the ethnic culture we had in our hometown of Cleveland. Ybor was settled by a variety of people, including the Italians. My hubby was, of course, super excited to see the Italian club (given his 100% Italian background). We might come back for another visit in a few weeks when they have the Italian Festival.

This review isn't for the Italian Club itself, it is for the little pizza window that is on 7th that is part of the building. I like their pizza. They only have two choices that I was aware of. Pepperoni and Cheese. Also, they just cook the pie once instead of putting the slices individually back in the oven that gives superior joints and edge.
