Really good. Jerk chicken was spicy, fall off the bone & moist. Perfect. Sides were great too. I had the red beans and rice and Mac n cheese. I'll def be back.

Was craving oxtail and this was the only place open close to us since we waited so late to get food. This was an authentic Jamaican place as far as I am concerned and for what I have witnessed in Florida so far. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and plantains. The oxtail themselves were very tender. They gave me a good portion size with lots of meat on the oxtail. I loved that as a lot of times in Dallas, they will serve you straight bones with no meat lol. So the oxtail was good. I would say I would've loved more spice. It was no spice at all. I like spicy food so definitely had to add plenty hot sauce. I think if there was a lil spice naturally, it would've been better. The rice and peas were decent. texture was good but flavor was a lil bland to me. The sweet plantain was really good and can never go wrong with that. My friend got curry goat and said it was really good. I know the goat had spice and he enjoyed it. While waiting on the food they did give us some passionfruit sorbet so that was nice.

Hands down the best Jamaican food I have ever had! The oxtails fell off the bone! The Goat curry was flavorful and juicy and the conch fritters were fried just right. If i am ever back in Tampa i will definitely be back here! Place is definitely on my all time top ten list of restaurants.

This is my Jamaican cuisine go 2I enjoy not only the energy of the employees; iAdore there suggestions. Each visit allows me the chance to sample different water ice, Jamaican drinks & most of all dessert. The lunch/dinner bowls are so convenient priced; i enjoy a dinner & the jerk bowls at the same time. This place id say gets plenty of my $$$ but they provide the yummy ‍!! Jerk bowls pasta jerk everything is great!!

Was craving oxtails one Sunday afternoon and lucked up on this spot! It's been about 5-6 years since I've last been here but I remembered them to be be great and this visit did not disappoint!You have the option to call in your order, which is recommended since the inside space is limited. We decided to actually go in and take a look at the impressive menu on the wall. Just a side note, most Caribbean restaurants run out of oxtail by noon! The Island Crew not only had a plentiful amount in the afternoon, around 4, but they did not skimp on the potions! If you take a look at the picture, I received an unheard of amount! Gravy everywhere and the oxtail was LEAN- another plus!Don't forget to check out the banana pudding in the refrigerator! Another plus. We ordered the conch fritters as well and they tasted like we were on vacation! Don't sleep on this Tampa gem!

TLDR: Vegan Devil crab!!! Do it! Best jerk chicken in Tampa & complimentary water ice.We first tried island crew back when it was a food truck & I am so thankful they are still sharing this amazing food now at a new more permanent location. We drove 40mins to have dinner here tonight & it was so worth it. Solid portion size & super friendly service. Plenty of vegan options & the flavors are unmatched. Spicy jerk chicken & Cajun rice with cabbage, yummm. My husband had the chicken curry with red beans & rice, I of course tried it & man, it was so good. Parking can be limited as it's a popular dining option on a Saturday night, but do not let that deter you. It's a must try!!! This food smelled so good we couldn't even wait to take a picture before digging in.

The food is really, really good! I love their greens, plus the staff is really, really nice. Two thumbs up!
