Island Chew

First time visitor. Stopped by on a Friday night. Tried the jerk chicken meal, with cabbage, plantains, peas and rice. Food is served in healthy portions. Our meal came with half a chicken. The food was flavorful. Chicken was seasoned very well. Cabbage was spicy! We opted to not have sauce on the rice. Next time we will get it on the side. Service was good and friendly. Plantains were prepared to order. There's plenty of outside covered seating. No complaints from us. We will def be back!

Went to the grand opening for this food truck!Customer service was great!They are very kind and welcoming. Couldn't wait to get my hands on some oxtails, which were not disappointing. My husband opted for the jerk chicken, which was not disappointing either very delicious. Can't wait to try some other dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this truck to others and I definitely will be back!Yummmmmmmm!

I stop just to checkout Island Chew food truck amazing people. First food had everything on the menu available and was also able to taste test. I had the oxtail and my boyfriend had the fish, both had the right amount of seasoning, rice was just rice and vegetables were not over cook. Had Jamaican punch was good but could use more ice, it's just me. Is was hot out. But will be back to eat and try something else on the menu. Great job ladies!!!!!

First time visiting Island Chew at the Brandon Food Truck Park and we were very pleased! First off, the ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Got the curry chicken meal, which came with sides of rice, cabbage, and plantains. The curry chicken and plantains were fantastic, the rice was very good, but I'd probably try to substitute something for the cabbage next time. Overall, an excellent meal and hearty portions that I'd love to have again.

Carlene is probably one of my favorite cooks. you can taste the love in the food at Island Chew. The location was easy to find and the ambiance is everything I needed. I was able to go by the water and enjoy my yummy chews. I'm definitely coming back.

The food was amazing . You can definitely expect fresh authentic Jamaican cuisine. Customer service was great. The eating area was very clean . I will definitely be coming back for the red snapper escovitch and brown stew red snapper.
