I think I've found my second home at Insomnia ISG Kava Bar and Smoke Shop! As a frequent visitor, I've come to expect nothing but the best, and every time, they deliver. The atmosphere is chill, the vibes are always on point, and the kava... well, let's just say it's the secret sauce to my happiness.Shoutout to Maysa, the kava tender extraordinaire! She's like the kava whisperer--every drink she makes is magic in a cup. Whether I'm there to unwind after a long day or just to soak in the good vibes, Maysa and the rest of the staff always make me feel like a VIP. Plus, her sense of humor is the cherry on top. You can't help but leave with a smile on your face!If you haven't been to Insomnia yet, what are you even doing with your life? Get over here and join the kava crew--you won't regret it!

Best hidden gem of Temple Terrace. Discovered it just this month and immediately fell in love with this place. Everyone is always friendly and kind, make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. I absolutely adore all the awesome art work implemented into the decor and the one you can purchase at the store portion of the business. It's the best place to chill at on a Friday night, with some kratom and/or hookah plus enjoy the trivia night. The Insomnia has great selection of very cleverly named drinks that contain either kava, kratom, CBD or Delta-8. Hookah flavors list is also very good, certainly can find a flavor that you'd enjoy. Plus they have a tobacco-free sheesha as well. Been here 3 times in a past month and we are certainly going to continue coming back for great vibes and relaxing time.

The hookah flavor NEVER ran out. Those guys know what they're doing and they constantly check up on you. Shout out to the two guys and Palestinian girl that work there.

I often stop by here when I am up late and just want a nice spot to chill. The staff all greet me by name and go above and beyond to show appreciation for me stopping by and showing some love. A lot of activity nights. DEFINED DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE ... Lol!!!

I'm trying to stray away from drinking and this place is just for people who want exactly that. I ordered one of their teas and a friend a mine ordered kava. I received exceptional service and was offered plenty of recommendations from the workers. The vibes are amazing; highly recommend if you're in the USF area

I had no idea this cute little Kava bar existed and it is so close to my new place! Their Kratom cocktails were delicious, very sweet and flavorful. Will definitely be coming back to try more! Highly recommend!

Loved my experience at Insomnia ISG! I went with 3 friends and we all tried different drinks, some Kava, some Kratom. 7 different beverages in total and they all tasted phenomenal! We even tried their hookah, which was wonderful as well. Every team member was so friendly, and Sosa was great! Kava, Kratom, Vape, Delta 8, Exclusive Snacks, Coffee, Tea, Art, this place has it all! The Art is stunning, so be sure to take a look around. The shop as a whole is aesthetically pleasing, I highly recommend!

Great place to meet coworkers after work. Fun elixir cocktails, great coffee and such a cool atmosphere.

I have found my literary salon. Fellow travelers engage in writing poetry & fiction & others play chess & even others partake of a hookah. It's ampersand heaven. Kava & Kratom beverages are calming & delicious. I recommend red & green Hulk. Music is perfect. Sosa, Miriam & Richie are lovely peopppple who care that we partake of the right beverage or flower or gummy. (ALL IS LEGAL.) Sosa describes Insomnia as a "specialty tea room". That's a perfect description. This is not your everyday smoke shop. Insomnia is a great place to engage --- or not --- in good conversation & commradery. I often sit at the gorgeous counter & write --- I am a novelist, BTW. Folks respect my space when I write. I've already made several acquaintances. All thanks to Insomnia. Please check it out.
