Desserts were also incredible - peanut butter pie was great, and the Choclate Vesuvius dessert pictured here melts in your mouth!

We had an amazing Christmas eve dinner at Inn on the Gulf. We had Chilean sea bass and the captains platter. The bass was cooked to perfection. It was flaky and flavorful. The lemon butter sauce enhanced the flavor of the fish, it didn't cover it up. Sea bass has a mild flavor and it is easy to over power with sauce, but they nailed it. The Captains platter was also cooked wonderfully. Nothing was overcooked, which happens too often in many places. The portion was very large and seasoned just right.The waitstaff was great. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. They were busy but you would not have known it by the service. The waitress checked often, but was unobtrusive. We enjoyed our drinks (great martinis by the way) and our dinners came out very quickly.We ate inside, as it was a bit chilly for us. The dining room has dark paneling and a lot of large windows. You get a cozy feel without feeling like you're in a cave. We had a view of the Gulf, which was particularly nice. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve experience. Outstanding. I wish I'd taken pictures, but pictures were the last thing on my mind.

Came here on their first day open after Hurricane Helene and Milton. This was our first time coming here.I can say I am shocked we had never been here in the past. We went with another couple. They got the broiled seafood platter and my husband and I got the Admirals platter. Both platters were more than enough food for couples to split. On the Admirals platter my husband ate the scallops and shrimp and I had the lobster tail and crab legs. These were the best crab legs I had ever had. They were so easy to crack and the drawn butter was great too.We also had what was called an Italian Old fashioned. It was an old fashioned with Amaretto in it. This was an excellent sipping drink. I can promise you we will be back. I recommend if the weather is right to sit outside on the patio and also make reservations.Also if you are traveling from out of town there is a hotel right on top of the restaurant. Not far to go for sleep and food.So happy they are back after the hurricanes.

Went there with a large group of ladies and we were seated promptly. Servers came right over and took drink orders and they were quickly delivered..gave us time to figure out what we wanted since there were so many great choices and were not pushy in hurrying us. Each table has a different server and we had Stephanie..she was on top of everything and the service was perfect! Soup and salads were served right away along with Bread and Butter which was a hit with everyone..I upgraded my Salad to a Greek with my meal and it was loaded with delicious Feta..I ordered a Sailors Platter which has Snow Crab Legs, Clams and Shrimp and I was able to remove the Crab Legs and do double Clams..Meals were served fresh and hot. Looking forward to coming back again soon...one thing I noticed after I got home, I paid cash and the fee they charge for credit cards was not removed on my receipt, so be aware if paying cash...

Great service, awesome seafood. Sat at the bar, Shawna was the bartender. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant morning. She was engaging and made you feel like you never wanted to leave. The calamari and fried grouper was the best I've had in a while. The building went through the catastrophic hurricane Helene and was flooded just a couple of months ago but after visiting, that incident wasn't even noticable. Great job on the cleanup and reopening. This is not my first time there and I will reaffirm that Inn On Gulf is by far, the best seafood in the area.

My brother and sister and I took my mom here for her 89th birthday. My brother recommended this restaurant because all my family loves seafood except my sister; and Inn On The Gulf has very good steaks as well as an abundance of seafood.Started off with my personal favorite: Vodka Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Then I ordered Stuffed mushrooms for my appetizer, salad with honey mustard dressing (I liked that the dressing was served on the side without even asking), and lobster and shrimp for my main course. All the seafood was delicately seasoned and delicious. Makayla served our drinks and food with great timing. As soon as we finished each course she was there to clear away the dishes and present the next course. Each time she remembered who has ordered what and gave all 5 of us the correct dish. She was also quick to bring extra napkins and MORE blue cheeses stuffed olives (there is no such thing as too many blue cheese stuffed olives!).Altogether the bill was $342 (including generous tip for Makayla). Well worth the price!

Our server, Lisa, made sure our food was great. We were served an acceptable dish but she took the initiative before we could mention our slight disappointment and replaced our dish with the best we had ever had. She shared with us her joy of working as a server and with this particular owner. Her happiness turned into our happiness. Thank you Lisa and Co.

Our call ahead seating was called on time, we had phenomenal food and superior service by Sierra on a Saturday night. The NY strip was cooked perfectly as I had requested medium. The seafood was amazing as well as the appetizer, Oyster Rockefeller, will definitely be back!!
