Indi's Restaurant

My first experience at Indi's restaurant was absolutely delightful! The restaurant space is bright, airy, and clean - just what you need in a quick take-out or dine-in spot! I ordered a two-piece meal for a midday lunch (dark meat is my preference) which came with a side of green beans and a dinner roll. The best part was getting a chance to sample a spicy chicken wing before deciding to order the regular chicken. I decided the spicy chicken was too spicy for my mouth (unless I'm having wine...if there's wine, we good). I ordered the regular chicken and it was ultimately crispy and finger-licking delicious! The mac n cheese is on point and with a little bit of salt, the green beans are just what the doctor ordered. The best part - teacher/veterans/first responders with appropriate ID get a 10% discount!! I'm a teacher so the discount is mucho appreciated. I wish more businesses offered this!!Love this local Clearwater spot and can't wait to go back!

Delicious catfish. Good corn meal batter. Crunchy moist chicken. We had the following sides: greens, Mac n Cheese, and baked beans. All really good. They also have a section on the menu called extras. We ordered fried okra. Fresh lightly battered. Family owned business that was started in Kentucky. So good. Give it a try.

I am happy to see that Indi's is finally open. We wanted to try them as soon as the sign went up. We got the spicy chicken, which had a seasoned great and the spice level wasn't too high. The mash potatoes were creamy and buttery, the coleslaw was delicious. Personally I wasn't a big fan of the gravy, but my husband enjoyed it. I also picked up a small hot BBQ sauce to try and was great. The sauce would be good on some pulled pork and or ribs too. The ladies were friendly and quick and can't wait to go back and try all of the other sides that are offered. They had some good music and Clearwater is lucky to have them. We'll be back!

We came to the restaurant based on the recommendations of Louisville transplants, and were impressed. The service and food were all top tier. Definitely would visit again.

I was in the mood for wings and saw Indi's on Yelp. Note to drivers, turn at the first street after Arby's! One of the first things I noticed when I entered Indi's is it didn't smell like fried food and everything was so clean and bright. The staff was super friendly and patient in me taking my time to order as this was my first visit. I ordered the 16-pc spicy wings and it was everything I was craving. The wings were crunchy, not greasy or salty or heavily breaded, and had the right spice to it. The price is affordable and the wings were fresh. I'll be back. If you haven't tried Indi's, what are you waiting for?

My wife saw this new place on a facebook page and wanted to go check it out. I like some good fried chicken so off we went. Walked in on a weekeday evening and checked out the menu. Its your typical fried chicken menu with a choice of spicy or regular. They have some unique sides like sweet potatos like you would eat during Thanksgiving. Their fries are large wedges that are breaded with the same stuff as the chicken. Very good fries. Their chicken is super moist on the inside with a crispy notable crunchy skin. The spicy chicken actually was made with hot sauce. You can see the orange color when you pull the skin apart. Way better than popeyes spicy. The people working there were super nice and helpful. I know where ill be going whenever i want fried chicken. This place is the best fried chicken ive had in a while. This place shouod get super popular once people find out about it and try it. I love supporting a small business vs a corporate chicken company and especially when the food slaps! (Slaps means its awesome. I learned this term from some kids. Lol)

Surprisingly DeliciousI'm a huge fried chicken fan and few non-chains around here serve it. I know that it takes extra time to cook. Most places limit themselves to chicken tenders and wings for this reason. But there is nothing like larger and complete fried chicken pieces.I heard about Indi's and didn't realize that it was a chain at first. Once I did, my expectations went down. I was very happily surprised. This chain is small and most locations are in Kentucky. The Clearwater location appears to be run by people who really care about the food they serve.I got a 3-piece dinner box. My mild version chicken was great--crispy outside and not at all greasy like that other chain from Kentucky. The mashed potatoes had wonderful flavor and weren't bland with a pasty consistency like that other chain. The green beans were outstanding (even though they were a bit overcooked--like in most southern food). The flavor was rich even without pork of some kind in the cook. Oftentimes the richness is balanced by vinegar, but here there was some kind of citrus flavor in the beans that created a wonderfully complex taste.I don't allow myself to eat fried chicken too often. I'm glad that when the craving gets to me, there's a great little place to satisfy that yearning.

I tried Indi's because I love spicy chicken. I ordered their 3 piece spicy dinner with 2 sides and a sweet tea. The sides I ordered were mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans. The potatoes were homemade as was the turkey gravy, I liked them both. The green beans were canned but I enjoyed them also, they had onions added. The chicken was awesome and had a great spicy flavor. Hot enough to make my nose run a little but not crazy hot, totally enjoyable. I also tried their homemade hot sauce which was great. I really enjoyed the meal and will be back for more!

Excellent food, great service at a decent price!Ordered a 5 pc chicken strip meal with 2 sides- the chicken strips are huge, potato wedges were great and the collard greens were some of the best I've had. Family run business and extremely nice staff.

The greens are Superb.Chicken tenders enormous. great unique selection of sodas.Eaten here twice had mild digestive issues both times.
