My experience here is 4.5 stars. Igmara's is very close to Tampa Sea Port entrance. Many truckers for the port have breakfast and lunch here. This is due to their affordable price and good food. We got the BBQ pork rib sandwich. The sandwich do have a lot of rib meat. For the deli we pick the salmon with rice and plantains. The plantains was will fried and sweet. The salmon was grill and good. The food are delicious. We also got their egg flan. It is delicious too. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seat if you want to eat there. The restaurant clerk is very nice.

I got a fry steak and a fry fish dinner to go. Both steak and fish were delicious. The coating was flavorful and crunchy. The yellow rice and white rice were all good. The texture was right and not overly salty. The sweet plantain was as good as it should be. The garlic potato was also a tasty side dish. She put black beans and red beans in separate containers. They were creamy and delicious. They have a skillful chef. The service was fast and friendly. The seating area was clean and neat. I also got a flan for dessert. It was not bad. I will buy it again next time. There was a 3.8% credit card charge. I may use cash next time. It locates south of Tampa IKEA near the Pier of Tampa. It only opens weekday early morning until 3 PM. Their food portion is really big. For delicious, plentiful food at a good price, this is the place to go.

Wow. Just wow. This place is a gem hidden next to the piers of Tampa.I was hesitant at first because there were only a few reviews on yelp but Google showed hundreds of reviews raving about this place. This place did not disappoint. I decided to try them for breakfast. I purchased a bacon egg sandwich, a breakfast platter, and a beef empanada ( not all are posted because it was devoured so quickly) everything was amazing. The ladies up front were nice and offered people free samples of coffee as they waited. It was a little busy, but they were fast and moved the line along great. This place has a small indoor seating area and benches outside for outdoor seating. This place exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go back! 10/10

Last week, I met a buddy for lunch at this little Cuban cafe, Igmara's. This spot is south of Ybor by the shipping channel. They offer a selection of Cuban food made to order and a hot line with food already prepared. I look d over the hot line and decided to go with braised beef and pork ribs. They had a selection of sides and I went with black beans and white rice. We also grabbed a couple orders of croquettes. They serve the food in Togo boxes and have a few tables inside. We grabbed a table and sat down to enjoy our food. While it wasn't the prettiest plate, it was incredibly flavorful. The beef was very tender and the pork ribs were very tasty. We both really enjoyed every bite we had. I did make the mistake of not paying when I first got there as the place was swamped with working guys grabbing a quick bite but the time we left. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Igmara's. We will definitely be back to try some other items soon.

I was a little sad with the sandwich I ordered, descriptions are limited. I assumed the chopped bbq chicken sandwich would be more than just shredded bbq chicken on Cuban bread. No offer to add lettuce or tomato or anything. Just sad meat and bread. The person I was with had a BLT, which was okay. Minimal service at best, order at a counter. No one is particularly friendly, just straightforward.

A good friend of mine "Barsiliou" purchased my breakfast with crispy salmon and eggs and i was consumed with the flavor and texture of the fish!!! i got the address of the Igmara's Caribbean Cafe and my good friend and i ate lunch together on 03Feb23 and we ordered the crispy salmom with the black beans and yellow rice and broccoli for lunch and the food was fresh and the taste was awsome. The personell was very focus on your orders and seems like a heavy hisanpic accented language. Thanks for being professional and doing it with a smile and can't wait for them to open up on Monday 06Feb23 so i can order more salmon. The salmon they serve at this location is large portions so bring an empty stomach and enjoy and I'm sure you will be like me can't wait to return.
