It truly exceeded my expectations!

Attended the wild wild west party First 100 people got free ranch rider drinks with drink cozies and bandannas. They had a mechanical bull. Lots of people lined up to ride and take pictures on it. The music was more dance than country. The dance floor where the DJ was set up wasn't very big. It was interesting layout with stadium style tiered seating. They also had a fun drag show. A cowgirl and cowboy on stilts. In the back room they had a tattoo parlor set up. You could get a tiny tattoo. They even had cowboy boots and hats that you get to commemorate the evening. Another room just for pictures with mirrors and a westerner backdrop. Very eclectic experience. Interesting venue. I could definitely see renting it for a variety of events.

Hyde House, I have heard of this place but didn't know anything about it. It's basically a place where you can work from, have events and use the test kitchen. The event I went to was a pop up dinner and only 16 people was there. It's a good place for an upcoming chef to test out their food items. The parking garage is right next door. Overall, it's a good place for an event.

I enjoyed a wedding of friends at Hyde House. It was amazing and versatile space. Very cool and modern. The event staff and the food were amazing!As an event planner, I am happy to find this option!

Love the co-working space as it's gorgeous, has a large patio, and there are unique events happening!

If you are considering booking this venue for an event in Hyde Park--don't. JUST DON'T. Save your time and money. Unless you desperately need to or are willing to deal with and pay for most entitled and puzzlingly misplaced attitude from staff of the venue. Upfront, my opinion about this joint should be obvious but here are some facts. They cannot lower the temperate below 72 because "they just can't." Ask for a venue liaison other than Brook/BrooKaren if you prefer someone helpful or someone with more manners or professionalism, because the answer is always NO. I'm not even sure what that person's purpose was other than to say no and be extremely rude while pretending to be busy. The overall attitude trickles down from the top, like THEY are doing you a favor, so BrooKaren/BrooKen--whatever. SO UNPLEASANT. Bring your own broom, vacuum and help. Be prepared to be reminded multiple times throughout the night to clean up your mess even if you're a guest. The place was dirty and dusty even before the vendors arrived. Saltbox provided superior quality food AND staff. Isabella Tran and her crew from Saltbox--friendly, attentive, professional from beginning to end. Consider an Airbnb with Saltbox, like a gorgeous big space with a view and less attitude. This can't be the only space in Hyde Park to host an event. Your special event deserves better. All the positive reviews of this place focus on the vendors, not the venue's staff/representation.
