I love this place. They have the best cuts of meat and it's super economical. They're prepared foods are bomb. I don't know why people complain about the parking. It's the same as every other place in Tampa. Awesome value I wouldn't get my fruits and vegetables here but everything else is awesome.

This is a very nice lil Latino (Cubano) grocery store. I'm almost tempted to give it 5 stars because the lunch counter serves uo a feast for $3.99 and they let me pick what I wanted. When I was there offering included black beans and rice, white rice, yellow rice, boiled yucca, garlic calabasa (pumpkin), chicken, chicken soup, beef, and some other items. Tamales are a la carte. The store also has a butcher and a pretty impressive meat counter as well as a good variety of fruits and veggies. I very much enjoyed my visit and would go back. Lots to try. They also have a wide selwction of pastries from a Cuban bakery in Hialieh.Viva Cuba!!!

This is a cute Cuban/Latin market with lots of nice produce, meats, packaged goods, and a hot food counter. Located off busy Hillsborough Blvd., parking lot is a bit challenging to maneuver but there are a good amount of spaces in front and to the left side of the store. On the occasions I have been there is a lot of movement and I have always found a spot. The produce section is off to the front left and to the back left you can find the butcher section. In the back right there is a hot food counter that serves up soups, different preparations of chicken, pork, tamales, morro rice, yellow rice and peas, white rice, calabasa squash (with onion and garlic), yucca (with onions and garlic), caramelized plantains, and other offerings that rotate depending on the day. We got a customizable filled-to-the-hilt to-go box and it was a very cheap $3.99! I can't find an offer like that anywhere (that I've been at least). Florida made bakery items are for sale and strewn about the store. There's some speciality packaged goods and seasonings also. The front part of the store has juices and cut packaged fruit (I believe). There are also quick grab-and go Cuban confections by the check-out registers, perfect for a sweet fix on the run. I also once saw packaged cut up papaya heavily discounted by the registers. Workers are friendly and I loved hearing the Latin beats blaring while shopping. I look forward to returning soon.

This market is indoor stand one and the parking situation is an accident always waiting to happen, even if you are driving by.This place is always packed with people, which appears odd to me. Sometimes they have some supper produce prices and other items are overpriced, go figure. I like the sale prices for usually for items I am going to juice. Often the produce is over or under ripe and is exasperating. The aisles are tiny 2 people with carts play chicken in the aisles. They have a wide selection of dried herbs that are reasonably priced: sesame seeds, cinnamon. ... personally I am not brave enough to buy meat or seafood here, but its of folks do. The store nust has a dirty feel that you would appreciate if it was an open air market. Somehow being confined indoors with all these people, just makes me want to leave, yet I continue to go because it is the best in the area that I know about and believe me that is no high praise. What's a girl to do? I love my green drinks#
