Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Pinellas Park

Bread is amazing. Chicken is okay most of the time. Sometimes a little weird. I like the service and the vibes. But pdq across the street? Supreme. But good bread. But I don't like the crinkle cut fries.

I was sooo pleasantly surprised by this place! I would say it's better than Raising Canes! The bread was AMAZING, the chicken tenders were a little on the smaller side but they were all meat and the fries were seasoned perfectly for my taste. I would most definitely eat here again I just wish there was a location in Tampa!

For a chicken place this basket of chicken tenders, fries and toast is great. The price for a 3 piece tender meal was only $9 and compared to other chicken spots that's a great deal. I loved the toast, it was toasted perfectly and the fries and magoo sauce were also tasty. Where it lacked a bit for me was the chicken tender size, compared to other chicken spots these are the smallest I have encountered. Overall though, flavor wise everything was great, maybe just a bit salty on the tenders. The service was nice and welcoming and I enjoyed the ambiance here. I would come back.

Solid place for chicken tenders if you are looking for an alternative to Chick-fil-a or some other fast food joint. This location is convenient and the ambiance is solid. The food itself is solid as well. Good portion of well seasoned French fries, crispy chicken tenders, and decent coleslaw to pair with the tenders and fries. I do wish the Texas Toast was a little more well toasted. It just ended up being more soggy than toasted. Service was alright. The people working here were friendly, but service can definitely be slow. You may find yourself waiting here for much longer than other fast food places, so keep that in mind. But overall, decent place that I wouldn't mind dropping by again in the future :)

I am a sucker for a chicken tender or wing restaurant so when I drove by this and the catchy name of Huey Magoo's meant I had to find time to stop by. I didn't love that I couldn't mix sauces without paying more, and I wasn't a fan of either sauce... but the tenders were decent.It wasn't a terrible meal but it wasn't amazing and I had it over a month ago, and it hasn't really crossed my mind to go back... but I think it's worth a try if you are a chicken eater! Helpful service. Casual, almost fast-food ambiance.

This place is absolutely fantastic and would definitely recommend, from food to great service. I would say this is a mix of Chik fil a and Canes... but even better. Why? The chicken is JUICY and flavorful without any sauce. I ordered the 7 piece hand breaded tenders with fries, Texas toast, and substituted the coleslaw for extra fries. My husband ordered the Buffalo sandwich and both were delicious. They also offer a variety of sauces to try!The best part was the banana pudding!! Fresh and homemade, I believe they'll be expanding their locations to Lakeland and Tampa soon. Inside was nice and clean.

I got the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and a large watermelon tea.The wrap it's self was good a couple fatty pieces which In not a fan of but Buffalo was good. The fries were super yummy and the sweet tea I wouldn't get again it just tasted like added syrup nothing great.

This is one of the first establishments I dined at when I moved in the area and the best word to describe them is consistent. The food is always hot, well prepared, delicious. The service is always on point regardless of what staff members are on shift. The cleanliness of the restaurant is always on point as well. I think that Huey Magoo's is right up there with the Raising Canes, Zaxby's, and Foosackley's of the chicken tender industry. I highly recommend Huey Magoo's

We were traveling from Orlando to Tampa and wanted to try something we hadn't had before that was "fast food". Huey Magoo's popped up in the search. We decided to give it a shot. I was craving a chicken wrap and I added pickles. This was tasty! The pickles were dilly and zesty and tasted great in my wrap. I scarfed it. The rest of my crew got the chicken tender meals with fries. One tried the signature sauce and it reminded them of Cane's sauce but tangy. Overall, we are glad we stopped. It took a little longer than a fast food drive thru but happy we chose this place. They also had some amazing magnolia trees in bloom around and it was perfect to eat outside.

My son kept telling me I needed to try Huey Magoo's.He wasn't wrong! They made our chicken fresh to order. The breading is light and flavorful. Not greasy AT ALL! The chicken itself is moist and tender! I chose the spicy magoo sauce and it was very good. The fries have a seasoning and were hot and crisp. I'm kinda a slaw snob and didn't want to chance it so I opted for double fries. The Texas toast has a very nice light garlic flavor. It's now my new favorite chicken place! I can't wait to go back!
