Housewife Bake Shop

We came here for the first time last night. We ordered a mini canoli, mini muffin and a few cookies. Everything tasted amazing. Not too sweet. I couldn't get over what a wide selection there was. It made it hard to choose! I will be back for sure, especially knowing they serve breakfast as well. Also the prices were pretty good. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in before heading to the zoo. Empanadas were not hot enough unfortunately. Cuban sandwich was smallish and pretty basic. The pastries and cakes looked amazing but pricey. They also have juices and batidos. Good enough for a quick bite. Eat in or take out.

It has been quite a while since I have been here and it has completely changed inside and a lot of the pastries are different from what used to be sold there..they have Empanadas and Sandwiches and also Scichatta ( Bakery Pizza) the pastries I have to say were very disappointing...the Napoleon was not fresh tasting at all and was not flaky .. the Danish was just o.k. the bakery Pizza was good... they were very helpful and nice ...

A must stop bakery everytime I am in the area! Pastries are always fresh and delicious and pair it all with coffee that is fresh! Not sitting in a pot!

I got 3 of the pizzas (3x$3.45 ea and 1x$4.90 carrot cake) and a slice of carrot cake. Should have been disposed of. The cake was so stale, the icing and cake crumbled when you stuck a fork in it! The pizza crust is so hard, you can't bite it. Last time, never again. The man was nice, but he said the cake was a lil frozen! NO it's straight up old! Do better people!

Just had the best damn cheesecake of my life from here. I'm ruined, cause no where else makes it this good and I don't live anywhere near here.

We've been going to this place for years and family years before that! Everything has always been great. My kids stopped in to see if they randomly had a tray of scacciata on their way to visit their grandparents for the holiday & the bake shop did not disappoint. My daughters boyfriend was a newbie and declared this "the best pizza ever"! Thanks Housewife Bake Shop for a great meal & some nostalgia for my kids from when they were younger (moved to Clearwater a few years ago)!Apologies for the crappy pics but my daughter ran off with what was left in the box and only left a few pieces lol!

We love this place! So many delicious treats! The cafe con leche is the best. We'll be back.

Deserves zero star! Hubby wanted to surprise me with a beautiful & delicious 'true bakery cake' for my birthday. Ordered it, did not ask price...his mistake. Went to pick it up. $32.00. For a small cake! It was pretty & he was so happy about getting it. Well.. it was awful smelling. Smelled like chemicals. Cut into it, cake was stale and it tasted as it smelled, like chemicals/oil smell. This used to be a great bakery and judging by other reviews we are not alone with disappointment! He drove 56 miles RT for this disappointment. I was sad for my hubby as he wanted it to be a nice cake for me. Sad to try to keep mom & pop establishments in business unfortunately this experience hurts them all. No consistency. Cheap products and high prices.

Estuve allí hoy quería probar los alfajores, pues son uno de mis favoritos. Para mi sorpresa estos eran muy distintos a los q he probado. Eran gigantes y difíciles de masticar. También solo tenían una línea de arequipe no suficiente. El alfajor es una galletita tan delicada, pero este era una monstruosidad innecesaria pues para q quieres comer solo maicena? El propósito es disfrutar Lots saboresUstedes tienen q arreglar esa receta. No tenía sabor, estaba dura y por Dios añadale más caramelo. Casi no podía comerlo de tan ancha que era. Estas galletas son muy especiales tienen que arreglar la receta.
