AMAZING. Best staff around. Talented kitchen. I've been here several times already and find myself coming more frequently now.Tonight though, I brought a friend in to introduce them to HOV for their first time and forced myself to try something new besides their popular vegan sushi rolls. I went for the spicy tahini dumplings (sounded very unique!) and spicy tom kha ramen (I'm OBSESSED with lemongrass and Thai flavors), as did my friend. We just walked up, ordered, picked a number, and sat ourselves down. Around 6:30 p.m. on a Friday, we picked one of the last non-communal tables left. Packed - even more so by the time we left around 7:30 - sooo happy to see, but plan accordingly on weekend nights. Ambiance is casual, but it's beautifully decorated; was a great spot for girls night catching up.Not that I didn't have good expectations about the food already, but whoa, that scent off the fragrant tom kha ramen broth was next levellll. And $14 for that big bowl?! Great deal! The vegan "meats" had quite unique giants and texture, so couldn't pinpoint what they were made with -- but they perfectly complemented the spices. Some of the chunks (may have been huge mushrooms?!) absorbed the strong lemongrass and Thai spices SO beautifully though, I wish I had a few more morsels included. I came with the idea to have leftovers to enjoy for the weekend... nope didn't happen, too good to stop. The spicy tahini dumplings, I expected a bit more of a spicy-buffalo-meets-sesame, but instead tasted more akin a peanut sauce (but sesame forward) -- with a GREAT kick, though! Very nice surprise; these had a bit of an unexpected flavor arc. I may want a bit more of whatever they used to dilute the tahini though, as I wish it had just a wee bit less sesame paste (to be fair, I'm not a huge tahini fan and only felt adventurous because WE TRUST THE CHEF). These dumplings are almost perfect though and I'll most def prefer these again. The dumplings themselves were cooked to perfection, too.All in all, another phenomenal dinner here and they have made it even more difficult to pick what to eat next time I'm back.- Signed, a NON-vegan (:

This food is so delicious. It was literally the highlight of my trip to the Tampa area. The Ramen is top-tier. I gave you all the feels of flavors and notes. The Ramen is literally everything. It gave you creamy meaty and the noodles were al dente. I server was also amazing. He educated us on how the restaurant came about and his travels to Africa and he has a tribal tattoo. I forget his name, but he was a delight I will definitely be back. Chef Dalia has created a gem.

Wow, House of Vegano is an absolute gem! The food is insanely flavorful, and the vibes are immaculate. Everything from the ambiance to the service was top-notch, and I can't rave enough about how amazing the entire experience was.We were starving when we arrived and dove right into the food, so I can't remember everything we ate, but let me just say--you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Seriously, everything was so delicious. Check out my pics and let your heart guide your order because every bite is pure perfection. This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves incredible food (vegan or not!).

So delicious and everything is vegan so the menu is my playground. We had the sky's the limit roll, seaweed salad and HOV dumplings. The flavors are amazing and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff constantly engaged with us and asked how our food was. No detail was left unattended to. Can't wait to come back.

House of Vegano has been on my list of places to try for over a year because of the great things I've heard from locals, positive reviews, and my personal dietary preferences. On a whim I decided to grab carry out on an afternoon. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff members. I absolutely love the vibe - the decor, wall mural, and furniture were all gorgeous (like who is your interior decorator??). The staff members, including the sushi chef, assisted me and gave me detailed recommendations when placing my order at the front counter. I went with the volcano roll and unagi. The wait was short, under 10 min for fresh rolls! However the sushi was somewhat disappointing. The chef and another kitchen employee both ensured me my allergen (green onions/scallions) would be omitted from the volcano roll, however they were still sprinkled on top so I had to pick them off, which is fine, my allergy is not life threatening, but it was disappointing. The taste of the volcano roll was...off, this may just be my personal tastes but the flavors didn't scream sushi to me. I think it may be due to the flavor of the eel sauce as it was on my unagi as well - heavy on the bbq taste. The volcano roll was also heavy on the cucumber (where was the avocado?) and the mushrooms were just piled on top, it would've been much better if incorporated into the roll. The unagi again had the off tasting eel sauce and I believe a type of Japanese eggplant as the 'eel'. It was too sweet, the eggplant seemed almost candied. I only ate one of the two pieces. I love eel sauce normally, it seems like their recipe needs to be tweaked. I only knocked off one star because the staff were so attentive, the food was fresh, and their other dishes going out were attractively plated and looked tasty. I still plan to go back and give them another try, maybe a non eel sauce sushi or soup next time.

HOV was kind enough to offer free takeout the day after the hurricane and we tried several rolls and other items. Everything was delicious! The rolls we tried were the spicy toona, philly and volcano. Our favorite was the philly roll! The HOV dumplings were really good too. Our favorite item in the whole order was the tom kha ramen, which was insanely flavorful and creamy. The fake meat and mushrooms in it were so good too - you wouldn't be able to tell they weren't actually meat. Would definitely recommend!!

YUM WHAT A MEAL. Came around 11:15am on a Saturday and were the only people there the whole time. Service was quick but a little confusing when sitting down with a menu to then get up and order. The restaurant was super cute. I got amethyst in bloom which was great but pretty much lukewarm. I split two rolls with my mom; the baked Alaska was too big to fit all in your mouth but delicious and a little spicy. The sweet potato summer roll was delicious. 2 rolls and the drink after tip was around $50 or so.

Had my birthday dinner here and can't wait to return and bring my vegan sushi-loving daughter! We came in early on a Saturday evening and hit just the right time. No waiting, no line. It's beautiful inside with a gorgeous mural, clean, and naturally beautiful. It was quiet at this time, as most of St Pete was preparing for Pride parade the next day. There is no table service - didn't expect that - but you order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. There is also a self help water container and limited drink options - Kombucha, 1 Sake, and wine. That was also awkward. For such a nice place, with such amazing food, I would expect differently. The food, however....!!!!! We started with the HOV Dumplings, because I heard we should. It's true! These were in a super flavorful sauce that was incredible. We also had a cucumber, carrot, and avo roll; King Krab Roll, Rainbow Roll, Still I Rise, and Volcano Rolls. The flavor of every one was spot on, and I thought I was actually eating raw fish. I had to stop a few times, because it tasted so good and I was worried! My non-vegan fam was delighted that it was so good despite being all plants! My only regret was that it is so far away from us. But this is a spot you don't want to miss!

Definitely a must try for plant-based foodies or friends that enjoy trying vegan food. The restaurant is smaller than I expected but had a nice open layout with comfortable seating. The mural on the wall gets a 10/10. Service overall is like a quick-service layout so you place your order at the counter and they bring out the food once it's ready. The wait wasn't bad, maybe 20-25 minutes total with two apps and two rollsPersonally had the Volcano roll, and it was great, the replacement for actual dish was mushroom and it wasn't quite as seasoned as I had hoped. But textures and flavor of the overall roll were great. Both appetizers will be ordered again. The edamame was tossed in a sweet Thai chili sauce and the spicy tahini dumplings were without a doubt the star of the show. I love to see more vegan options for my plant-based friends and think this is a spot anyone (vegan or not) would enjoy.
