Great location to consider for a nightly stay or a special personal event.Don't let the exterior restoration construction distract you [April/May 2024] from the beautiful gem of a location found inside.From a pristine, lux lobby to their comfortable, clean suites, this is definitely a location to consider.The front desk staff always greeted with a friendly, warm smile no matter the time of day/night. They were direct and clear in directions around the check in and out.Valet parking was quick and easy. They even have a text option to alert them that you will shortly be there to pick your car back up.Great location to definitely consider with a lot in walking distance around you to entertain yourself. Wish I was in town longer, will definitely consider them again in the future.

The staff members at this hotel are absolutely amazing - especially Leo, Scott, and Jose! In a world where technology rules our everyday lives, something is bound to happen on occasion and unfortunately during my stay I had an issue with my room. Each of these gentlemen went out of their way to try to physically identify and fix the problem, however, the issue was bigger than all of us so then they quickly worked to make it right. The people who work for a business can truly make or break it.

Not sure how we feel about this stay... the building is currently under construction which could be impacting our thoughts. The hotel is definitely older, which is fine because it has been kept nice and tidy so it doesn't feel as old as it is. There are no ice machines but the ice bags are provided in the lobby in the fridge. The rooms are well kept. The food options are great as well!One reason for the missing star is the staff is a little touchy. When asking questions it felt like we were a bother when the questions did not seem all that difficult, but nonetheless, an overall good stay.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay here due to a flight cancellation. The hotel is still going through renovations, but our room was fully renovated and beautiful! The staff was kind. They allowed us to check in early which was really helpful. The only issue we had was with hot water (which they fixed quickly). Overall, I would stay here again!!

located downtown Tampa, the hotel is in a not so good area, noisy streets and you can hear everything up to the 15th floor. A lot of homeless people hang out across the empty lot next to the hotel and right next to I-4. I booked through the hotel website "dog days of summer" rate that includes free breakfast and valet, Hilton will show you the "total for your stay", including fees and taxes. Upon check out the hotel will automatically add a $30 "destination" fee. on top of your total stay, and got charged "breakfast" even after paying for my coffee with tip. Valet is $40 which is parked 15 steps from where you drop the car off.worst if all, is how I was treated when I brought this up to the front desk, she sounded very irritated and started huffing and puffing while typing, had to pull up my email confirmation and rate to change the destination fee. I even had to pull out my receipt for breakfast for her to take out the charge. No apologies or even a thank you for your stay. you have so many options for hotels in downtown Tampa, do yourself a favor and book a hotel next to the river, I don't mind paying extra fees as long as they dint try to hide them from you. I travel for work 120 days/year, I won't be staying here again or suggest anyone I know to.

Worst hotel experience ever! Sunday night 11:00pm and a wedding ends in the ballroom. So they let it continue in the room next to ours. At 11:50pm I try to call the front desk but their phones do not work. And no getting through on a cell phone as you can only get automated reservations system at that time. Music pounding, doors slamming at least 15 times. Voices carrying through our wall. And when I finally go down to the front desk, the staff just throw their hands in the air and say it's an after wedding party. No sleep at all.

As a Diamond member, I expected at least some recognition for my loyalty, but this hotel showed a total lack of appreciation for repeat guests. I requested a late checkout, a basic perk for Diamond members, but was flatly denied. They claimed they were "fully booked," yet they seem more than happy to cater to new guests while treating loyal customers like an afterthought.It's astonishing that a hotel claiming to be "customer-focused" would so blatantly disregard its most loyal members. What's the point of loyalty status if they can't even offer a simple late checkout? Clearly, this hotel is focused solely on filling rooms, not on creating positive experiences for those who come back again and again.If you're a Diamond member looking for any kind of special treatment or recognition, don't expect it here. My loyalty clearly means nothing to them, and after this experience, it's mutual.

In Tampa for a trade show, This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! they are renovating the outside but the interior reno is complete. The only issue I had was with my Laundry. I have never used the laundry service at a hotel before, but I extended my stay. Unfortunately, my pants were lost in the process - bummer...The good news is the staff was wonderful - offering to help in any way they could. long story short - I'm back in Texas and a package from Hotel Flor arrived with a BRAND NEW PAIR OF PANTS!! Like any big company they could have pulled "policy or fine print" somewhere to avoid responsibility but nope! THEY REPLACED MY PANTS - whoop!PS - for breakfast i recommend trying the apple chicken sausage.sounds = WTH?taste = D'LISH!

Unfortunately this hotel is not Disable/Handy Cap friendly. The only entrance to elevator access is 1/2 way around the building from parking. We went to zn event in the banquet hall had had no wheel chair access. You had to climb stars to get to it.
