I've been coming to Hooks for years, and it's easy to see why it's a local favorite. There's usually a wait in the evenings, but I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes, which is reasonable given how busy this place gets.The sushi here is solid for the price--it's not the highest-end sushi you'll find in the area, but it's a consistently good and affordable option. Since it's always packed, there can be a bit of a wait for your rolls after ordering, but it's worth it. The Sunshine Roll is my go-to, and I highly recommend it!If you're looking for good sushi that won't break the bank, Hooks is a great choice.

Hubby and I were impressed that our ENTIRE ORDER was delivered to our table within 10 minutes of ordering: drinks, appetizers, salads and 4 sushi rolls. Everything was delicious!Restaurant was clean & comfortable. The waitress was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon! Kudos for not participating with Uber Eats and GrubHub orders and making your restaurant patrons your top priority!

Hooks is one of the best places I've been to in a while. I was able to sample everything from the bibimbap to the sushi rolls. Everything was soooo good. Even the edamame was fresh, soft, large beans. Yum. I'm not on the west coast of Florida too often but next time I come back I'll definitely be stopping at Hooks. They have a great variety of offerings from Japanese to Korean to Thai. The rest of my table enjoyed everything that they ordered too. Definitely worth stopping at Hooks. You'll love it
