Hogg Daddys Beach Bar and Grill

I and my nephew Cole, my niece Gianna, both of whom are on holiday from college, my dad and my sister Lisa traveled to Clearwater Friday to go to a famous place called Frenchie's. We called and, because it was Friday, rush hour, it was going to take forty - five minutes to wait for a table and another hour for a server. So we decided to search for a place to eat and came across Hogg Daddy's. The place is a wonderful enjoyable jewel that was incredible. The food was so succulent, the waitress was so accomodating and the atmosphere was splendid. How can anything be so lovely as to have a beautiful, Florida day in Clearwater, it's 6:00 pm on a Friday and the food and service was impeccable. My dad and niece had the New England clam chowder and I had the half - rack of ribs with a cold glass of Miller Lite. The glass came to me cold as ice and tasted so good!!!!! The chowder was very good!! Trust me, if one is in Clearwater and they want to go to place to eat well, have a good time and have nice service, Hogg Daddy's is the place to go.

This spot deserves more than 3.5 stars. It is an awesome late night spot to watch football and get live DJ music once the games are starting to close out. You can enjoy pool, sit outside on the patio and smoke, the bartenders are pretty friendly and most of them enjoy their jobs. Rank the general manager is sweet and kind and very direct with what he likes and doesn't like about the lighting. That is very nice to see in a general manager. The DJ Drew who keeps the party Poppin once the games are off. What is extremely special about this place that they get back to the community. For example, when we just went through the second hurricane back to back, they gave out over 30,000 meals to the workers in the nearby area as well as the residents suffering, and in desperate need of nutrition. Came in on a busy Monday night, sat at the bar and was quoted an hour wait for food. We stayed and ordered food and it was less than 20 min for our food to arrive. STACY and JEN rocked the bar ! Excellent bartenders. Great attitudes, fun, and down to earth. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our night awesome. Love you girl's. Jeff and Victoria slayed the kitchen!!! Stopped here late night for a quick bite. Food was okay but the service was 5 stars. Would def stop back here for drinks and apps when/if in the area.

Screw Daddy's where the bartenders happily put drinks on your bill that you did not have then treat you like dirt when you challenge them over it? For a local who is there 3-4 days a week??)?

Service was great, bbq was good, mac and cheese was on point especially with the ribs! Unfortunately, the green beans were not up to par. They need to make them more simple. Maybe with some recommendations they with change the recipe. Thumbs up overall. We will be back!

Food here is just . Typical bar food and drinks. The service was good. There was live music. The ambiance is loud and busy. Typical beach bar vibes. There's lots of outdoor tables.

Disrespectful, Overpriced, and Hostile - Avoid This Place!If I could give zero stars, I would. I came here hoping to enjoy the Super Bowl by the beach with some good food, but instead, I was met with pure hostility and disrespect.The owner was incredibly rude and openly racist, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. His wife was yelling and screaming at me even though I'm seven months pregnant which was completely unacceptable. The staff also used profane language, making it clear that professionalism is not a priority here.The food was just as disappointing. It was overpriced and arrived cold. I ordered chicken nachos and barely got any chicken. When the bill arrived, they tried charging us for sauces we never even used long after we had finished eating. We were willing to pay but simply asked for those extra charges to be removed. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner escalated it, got in my fiancé's face, and even called law enforcement over a completely unnecessary dispute.No pregnant woman should have to endure this type of treatment just for trying to enjoy a meal and a game by the beach. A business owner should know how to treat customers with respect, but clearly, that's not the case here. Save yourself the trouble and take your money elsewhere.

What a great place for dinner or snacks and a beverage! My wife and I just had dinner there and the staff was awesome! The service was exceptionally fast and the food was delicious. We highly recommend Hogg's when you are looking for a place to eat and drink in Clearwater Beach!
