Checked this place out for the first time this weekend. Sat at outside bar on a hot day but their big fans kept it pretty comfortable. Very good vibe, service was attentive and food was really good. Fun place and you could tell it had a lot of regulars that were having a good time. Would definitely go back again.

Hidden Anchor is one of the New Eateries in Tarpon Springs. Located at the former Morgan Mae's or even Yard of Ale, the location is central and easily found. Parking can be a challenge. We came on Sunday and had dinner together, inside, as the humidity was high. Service was a bit slow, but the food was really really good. I had the Grouper, Scallops and Shrimp and it was Delicious! My husband had the fried platter and he too was happy with what he got. The tables were fascinating, as they're all different and hand made.We were not there for this, but they do offer Live Music several nights a week and Karaoke for the folks who sing We'll be coming back as we liked the fare.

If you want a cocktail swished back in forth from one glass to the other instead of shaking....go here. Food limited even though a full menu given. Probably would not return even if its the only remaining open restaurant

Hidden Anchor was a nice little landlubber surprise! Arrrr! Fabulous local art all around especially the hand made tables adorned with lost pirate treasures & gold coins. The currency of Kings! Arrr! Excellent Blackened Shrimp Nachos! Real quality Pearls or the sea! OuiOui. The owner, a tall dark handsome fellow pirate lad, greeted us with enthusiasm to joining him for Nacho Tuesday! Ole! Live music was happening outside, so we sailed into the dark abyss of the sea till we drifted into the twilight, of the Lilith Tide stars, of the sea faring pirate saloon. And what a beauty she is. Arrrr! A capsized dingy "the flying dragon" lay in troubled waters up above, of the few scalawags & merrymen that sailed Hidden Anchor before us, ending in doom. Arrrr! Beautiful Scarlet Wind Bar wenches here are fierce with a relentless spirit of hospitality & kind service. We were given top notch treatment, customized our order of Blackened shrimp Nachos instead of with the grilled blackened bird. Arrr! We wanted Pearls of the sea & the lovely Scarlet Wind bar maidens delivered tenfold. OuiOui. Best blackened Shrimp Pearls of the sea Nachos this side of the Strait of Magellan! Highly Recommend!

Was in the neighborhood and heard about this place. Decided to give it a try. $2 drafts 11-7 Happy hour on Sunday. Great deal! Started with clam chowder. Good flavor and decent amount of clams. Also got the fish tacos with the mango salsa but not my cup of tea. I like spicy ones so honestly a great taco if you don't like the spice. Grabbed another beer outside at tiki bar. Nice touch

As locals, we love to have good local spots to get good quality seafood! The newly opened Hidden anchor is one that will deliver! We sat outside on the main outdoor bar by the Tiki area, and we're quickly greeted by Dustin, the bartender. While he was busy, he did a great job of greeting us as well as making sure we had everything we needed. We had their shrimp boil, and it was tasty! Big plump fresh shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn for a super tasty meal for the two of us. Can't wait to come back on the weekend when they have live music to check out the evening scene!

Finally went back after watching Morgan maes go down hill. Liked that they had cleaned up the decor a bit and the staff was very friendly but that was about it. They used to have one of the best crab cakes around but unfortunately they changed the recipe with the new owners. We won't be running back for more.

Large, delicious portions in a family-friendly place with an amazing, bug-free, shaded patio - I couldn't have asked for more!We have eaten at Hidden Anchor twice now and I'm still thinking about those delicious meals. Can't wait to go back - and neither can my kids (who rarely eat restaurant food). My daughter (who is a very picky eater) and husband both LOVED the Hidden Anchor sandwich. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the toppings complimented it well. I have now had both the salad with shrimp (which were fresh and deliciously blackened) and the Hawaiian Shrimp bowl (which I'm still dreaming about having again). The portions were large so we took home enough for lunch the next day!I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. This place is a real hidden gem! Glad to see this locally-owned business recovered after the extensive flooding from Hurricane Helene.

Oh my, where to start. The food, the service, absolutely the best! Had a wonderful meal, the service was great. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food. First time crab eater in our party and she spent time teaching him how to open and eat. Just a great experience!
