Hibachi Express

I love this place! The service is always friendly.The spicy tuna & California rolls are tiny, but fun to eat (order twice as much as you would elsewhere). I love the unexpected crunch of tempura flakes inside the spicy tuna!The hibachi meals are big enough to share & loaded w/ fresh veggies. The shrimp is huge & they are very generous! This place is super fast, super convenient & one of my favorites in the are for a quick, healthy bite.The only downside is the smell of hibachi that will stick to your clothes & hair, especially on a humid/rainy day.

Ordered here as a group on Uber eats at work, over all it was pretty decent for a hibachi to go! If you like your meat not so well done, make sure you note that in the comments. Since it was delivered the meat was a little more well done than what I preferred. Good food sizePortions and selection and price! Even tried the red dragon sushi and it was fresh and tasty! Would deff order from here again!

I believe this is my third time coming here. The food is really good. Reminds me a lot of Kobe's. I tried the Steak Yakisoba. It was really good. I would highly recommend this place.

This is a regular place in a little shopping plaza. I ordered the teriyaki chicken from the lunch special. It came with fried rice,veggies, and white sauce. The food was great and flavorful. However, I was literally hungry like 30 minutes later and ate all of my food. The place was clean. The server spot cleaned as people got up. It's a nice place if you have a small appetite. I'm a petite woman but I definitely want more filling as I eat. I'll go back. But not if I'm starving.

Great prices, amazing service, amazing food, amazing everything literally love it. Never had bad food this place is literally a godsend I am going to put them in my Will and testament 10/10 would fist fight for their snow mountain roll and hibachi lunch special

I was in the area to get an oil change and decided to drop by this place for a quick lunch. The place was pretty busy, with one table of 14 office workers having lunch and the rest of the tables full. I wasn't greeted when I arrived and had to wait about 3 minutes before anybody even acknowledged me at the counter. When they did, the young lady who took my order was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered shrimp shumai and the lunch special of chicken hibachi with a soda. They gave me my number and I sat down to await my food.The place is a cross between a traditional order by picture Chinese to-go type restaurant and fast-casual. They have an extensive sushi menu and a limited hibachi menu. I found this odd since the place has hibachi as the first part of their name. Personally I wouldn't eat sushi from a place like this.It took about 8 minutes for my shrimp shumai to arrive. They brought it on a real plate, which I thought was a nice touch. The shumai wasn't very hot, but acceptable. I am pretty confident they just open a bag and steamed it. I don't think anybody is hand-making shumai at this place. Honestly, you can get the same, and better quality, but visiting a decent Oriental Market, like MD Oriental Market.A few minutes later my entree came out. It was a huge, and I mean, huge portion of chicken, rice, and vegetables. Like another reviewer noted, the pieces of chicken were not consistent in their size. I had some monster pieces and some tiny pieces. The vegetables consisted of broccoli, zucchini, and onions. Nothing else.The chicken was very dry. So much so that I had to douse it with all kinds of sauces just to get it down. Further, nothing had any flavor. It could have used maybe some salt and anything else to make it interesting and palatable. The food wasn't terrible, it was just blah. If you are in the market for a metric ton of food, that is stupid cheap ($7.99 for the meal with a soda), and don't care much about flavor or consistency, then this is your place. For me, I won't be back anytime soon.

Two of the many things we ordered were the Godzilla roll and the Dragon roll. I'd definitely recommend both of those! The prices were reasonable, the food was so flavorful and it was the quickest service I've ever experienced. We will definitely be coming back!

A great service establishment but this was the final straw me and my significant other were eating and she found a literal ROACH in that food in her steak and shrimp rice bowl this is unacceptable

Friendly staff, an awesome lunch special, and great quality food. It's hard to find good hibachi in Tampa, almost impossible at this price. Sushi was fresh and tasty too.

I've been here in the past as in maybe one year or so ago and was kind of surprised by the affordability but today was the ultimate last visit there. The asian lady helping us was helpful but her co worker seemed to have an attitude. We ordered to go, wish I would've checked my food. The avocado/shrimp rolls where the finest rolls ive ever seen in my life and my cucumber salad was nothing but a few cucumbers sprinkled on top of a bed of romaine lettuce. If youre going there expecting somewhat Japanese dont be fooled.
