So I love coming here! Order it to go and boom it's alwYs ready 10-15 mins! Only thing I really don't like, being hassled to spend more $ on the sauce. Like hello I'm spending $50+ right now.. you fr can't give me more sauces? Pretty ridiculous especially how I was coming here a lot one month and I'm like dude I been here a lot and ur still charging me for sauce? Smh Then when u ask about why the charge when ur spending so much this one chick got rude. I said ya know what cancel this, and I took back my tip! Very rude ! She def didn't deserve the tip. Since 2023 and the great inflation worldwide they did raise their prices as well. They have it noted on their door though. But frr when u have regulars spending $50+ each time.. cmon chill w the sauces charge! Y'all aren't a McDonald's! Lol

The best way to eat Japanese food without breaking the piggy bank? Come to Hibashi Express. Affordable prices. Great food. I would recommend to come eat during lunch time. They have good specials combos and thier sushi is exquisite.Thier staff are nice, friendly and hospitable. The place is clean. Thier noodles are good along with thier rice. You can choose in your lunch combo either steak, shrimp or chicken. Either one is not a bad choice. Thier sushi I can't express enough how good they are. If you're into the spicy stuff, try thier Fire Ant Sushi Roll. It has a good kick in it. So if you happen to pass by Plant City Florida and would like a recommendation of a good affordable Japanese food. Then come try Hibashi Express.

Fun, fast, & affordable hibachi and sushi place in a Publix plaza. The lunch specials seem to be tHe most popular featuring Fried rice, vegetables, a choice of protein, and a drink for $7.50. Sushi rolls range from $4 to $8 and seem to be a good value. We had a couple and the fish was fresh and flavorful. Apps are $3-$5 and also a good value. The service is very quick, even on a busy Sunday midday with the after-church rush. Portion sizes are good, prices are great. Note: this isn't a sit-down service place but rather you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.Parking is shared with the plaza and can get congested but you can always find a spot.I would definitely recommend this for something quick or great place to pick up ToGo sushi.

We received the order through DoorDash. Noticed they are using small & cheaper containers. The meat portions are literally half the size they used to be. I called and spoke with the lady who said their lunch portions are small than their dinner portions, however they have cut back on portions because the rising costs of meat. This isn't disclosed or explained prior to ordering. The prices are the same which have always been high but the portion and quality, made it worth it. Now you want to cut back on portions, but continue to charge the same price to cotinue with your same or larger profit margins. Not what they used to be, they aren't worth it anymore and using deceitful practices in running their business. Big no!

If you are craving sushi and want it now, this is the place for you. It isn't quite a sit down restaurant (I.e. with a server) nor a fast food place. Its fairly simple and low key. It's a perfect place for lunch, for a group of people, or an easy family dinner after work where you don't want to wait for a table, and don't need/want a server. People were streaming in and out picking up pickup orders. You order your food at the front counter and then they bring it to you at your table when it's ready. We enjoyed several of the chefs choice rolls and they are very reasonably priced and appear family friendly.
