Hibachi Express Lakeland

The service was great!Called in and my order was ready in less than ten minutes. This place is busy during lunch in a busy shopping center so I recommend calling in for to go.I ordered the chick hibachi lunch special. It was a lot of food. Chicken was juicy, rice was freshly fried and hot, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I subbed the soda out for a clear soup. It had a rich broth with mushrooms, scallions and crunchy onions. I got all this for $10! The ambience is kind of a chain style sit down but it was very clean. I will without a doubt be back!

We were craving hibachi and didn't want to break our wallets. This was the first place that popped up on Yelp while we were road tripping back to Central Florida. We both ordered the chicken teriyaki and steak hibachi plate. Food came out hot and in huge portions. We had to take the rest home.

Decided to stop in for lunch because they have good reviews and a great lunch special. The deal is $8.95 for hibachi chicken, steak, or shrimp with vegetables, fried rice, and a drink! I was greeted right away by the cashiers and they were both very nice and welcoming. I ordered the chicken hibachi lunch special and received my food in about 5 minutes. The food was okay. Nothing special. The portions are good. The chicken was overcooked (pretty tough meat), but the teriyaki sauce helped flavor the dish. The white sauce was good with the teriyaki! The rice was probably my least favorite. It didn't taste fresh and seemed to be some quick minute rice because of the texture. The quality isn't great but for $9 and quick lunch service you can't ask for more. I'd stop by again for those reasons, maybe try the noodles instead.

Today was my first time picking up at this place and the interior was super nice. The cashier was super friendly and our order was perfectly put together. Generous portions and prepared to perfection. I'd like to bring my husband here to eat dining in too it was that nice . The meat was tender and I ordered the vegetarian with a ton Of veggies . I wish there were more than zucchini and broccoli , they should do onions and mushrooms . Overall it was excellent we will go back for sure many times again~

I love coming here for a quick lunch! They have a fantastic lunch specials for a great price. The portions here are very generous and the food taste good. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the food itself didn't blow me away. The service from the cashier could also be better. Sometimes it feels like the girl is in a bad mood lol.

If you're struggling after Milton- Don't eat here. Smh how is this place gonna charge $60 for their party tray of steak hibachi with just one container of rice? After Milton we lost power and water so we were hoping to feed our family to a decent meal. Had to wait until we got power to post this. We should've probed on what was included but we were told it would feed 6 people by a cashier. They could've at least included salad. The steak was tough and overcooked, out jaws were sore from chewing it. We had to drench it in the yum yum sauce to eat it because even the sauce for the steak and veggies tasted bland. Only added stars because the staff was nice.

The service was pretty good! The black kid deserves a raise. Was so nice and kind. However, the other worker, the asian with the bad bowl cut, was rude and dismissive. Fire him immediately.

My wife and I come at least once a week, the service is great and food is always very good as well, especially the fried rice. They have a little bit of everything, and they now have Crab Rangoon which is pretty good as well. I would always recommend this place for a quick bite to eat, especially during lunch when they have their lunch specials.

Waited 45 min for a to go order because the 2 cashiers forgot to call my order even though I was sitting 5 ft in front of them. Finally had to go up and ask if mine was the bag sitting in the window for the last 30 min. Great food, brutal service.

Friendly staff, Service great. Clean facility and tasty food can't beat for quick lunch or dinner. Great variety
