Hibachi Buffet

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! they charge a $9.95 fee surcharge for any morsel of food that is left on your plate . Half the food is shitty and you try it and can't eat it so .. SURCHARGE... They deliberately try to take your plate of food before you are finished while ignoring empty ones why? So they can charge you a SURCHARGE FEE !!I AM BEGGING EVERYONE. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!!! And the staff is rude and say nasty snarky comments about you as you are walking out the door!!! THEY LAUGH AND THINK ITS FUNNY THAT THEIR FOOD SUCKS AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!!!PLEASE GO ANYWHERE BUT THERE TO EAT!!!!!!! All they do is point to a sign when you leave that it's posted but they don't say anything about it when you are seated..

This place might not look like much on the outside, but inside it's a wonder! We met a friend for dinner, and we were overwhelmed with choices. Husband & friend found their favorites, and quickly got what they wanted. I wanted to experiment, so I tried different items. For me, I chose various forms of crab meat (in a scallop shell, in a crab shell, loose for salad), chicken (General Tso, Bourbon, Honey), fruits (mandarin oranges, watermelon, peaches, bananas fried & in strawberry syrup), salad fixings (lettuce, cheese, and more), and different desserts (6 different ice creams/sherbet, cookies, and pastries). There was so much more to choose from on 4 different stations of food - hot and cold. I did want more labels on items that I did not recognize. That would have made this review 5 stars. Service was great. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat down, and when we returned to our table with our first plate of food, drinks were waiting for us. When we finished all that was on our plates, someone took the empty plaaway. When we got our bill, we gave our credit card, and we were able to pay as we finished dessert. For 3 people, and the variety of delicious foods, $61.24 on a Friday night plus tip was reasonable. We will be back!

My friend and I have been coming here for years and the food is fantastic. I love this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars , I would. We drove from Orlando to Tampa and a family member wanted to eat at this location. We had not seen this family member in years. The food is very lackluster and overcooked. The best thing there is the hibachi grill. The restaurant is in definite need of a few upgrades but the bathroom was clean. After we ate and paid, we were talking at the table and in assuming this was the owner; but he came by and told us we had to leave because we had reached our time limit. How rude! It's even more rude because there was no one in the restaurant! I would not suggest this restaurant because they only look at you as a dollar sign.

I have been here a few times and I have to say I don't understand the negative reviews at all.When you enter, someone comes up and seats you, and if you don't like the table, they will move you to where you prefer, no questions asked.You are asked what you would like to drink immediately.When you finish your plate, someone comes and takes it away promptly, and often, with a smile.They also fill your water glasses promptly.About when you are on or done your 2nd plate, they drop off the bill, and someone takes it away when it is ready, without rushing you to leave at all.The food choices are plentiful and hot. We liked the honey chicken, veggies, pepper steak, skewers, and desserts in particular, but there is so much more, like seafood, roast, a small Italian section, and a bunch of appetizers we will need to come and try next time.There are people who restock regularly and they also take the time to wipe up any messy areas to keep the buffet clean. The floor isn't slippery and oily like other buffets get. And the restaurant is huge, with tons of seating to match the large buffet this place has.Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and variety of what they offer. I would almost go as far as saying this is the best Asian buffet in Tampa, but I've only been to 3-4.When you leave, you are thanked by the host at the front. Tables are spaced apart nicely. There are booths and larger tables for families, and lots of staff walking around regularly in case you need anything. We also like the simple black shirts and pants worn by the staff, which makes it easier to tell staff from guests.We will continue to dine here, as it's very close to where we live, and for the consistent good and service.My only negative is the exterior could use some work, but at least, there is plenty of parking. All in all, I would bring people here, and tell them to ignore the exterior, and just wait until they get inside and experience the food!

First time here. Got here just as dinner started at 3:30. Really wanted hibachi but it just didn't look very appealing. Stuck with the buffet which looked fine...decent selection and many types of chicken. All was pretty standard by buffet standards. Servers kept my soda filled up and everyone was pleasant. Fried shrimps were large and tasty. Interior is pretty dour...dark and uninviting. Place serves it's purpose if you want unlimited basic, Chinese food and feel like you ate way too much for the rest of the day.

The owner/'manager is the rudest person I have ever had the unfortunate experience to meet. He will go so far to tell off the public to not return if you eat more he feels allowable. If asked a question, his reply is nasty. Beware.

service SUCKS i left 15% (2.07$) for 12.89 or something dollar tab i did the math wrong and only added the .7 on the total but the tip line still said 2.07 (keep in mind its a buffet) the guy at the desk starts screaming at me for leaving a penny tip (he wasnt even my server, also a buffet they literally dont serve you) when i told him i made a mistake adding and i was sorry he kept yelling at me and taking bad about me to others while my mother tried to explain it was a honest math mistake they didn't understand, rude as fuck. Will never return, even if i didnt tip on the card, what if i left cash on the table just to be yelled at for a small tip (at a buffet ) god these people are stupid

FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO EAT OWNER has insulated us for not paying tip plus telling us to get out of the business; regardless their nasty behavior they also not paying attention to the food quality though(NOTHING IS FRESH) all their food has been in pots for a week minimum.First and last time here
