We have been coming to Heights for a while now due to hubby loving his steaks. They have amazing cuts of all types of steaks and also have waygu cuts . We love the cowboy or the pichana and the waygu beef but everything we have tried has been delicious on the grill. They also have an exotic section of meats. They also have many types of seasonings, rubs, sauces to go along with your meats. The staff is always friendly and they always remember you and remember which meats you like. I also love when they do cooking class which is really fun. The classes are 30 dollars and you get the demonstration, food samples and a choice of drink. We always come down to get a few goodies they now have recently expanded and I belive have a total of 4 stores so if your near one check them out . Yes the price may be a lil higher but your getting High quality products. So your paying for what your getting and you won't be disappointed. They also have some chicken ,pork items as well . So just go check them out . Its worth the money to enjoy a delicious tasty cut of beef .They also do fresh turkey for the holidays as pre-order and prime ribs as well . The staff is so sweet and very knowledgeable and also great at suggesting rubs or seasoning with what ever cuts of beef you have .

We called a couple days ahead to have some Tomahawk steaks set aside for us for Christmas dinner. Ricardo was so helpful, kind, and took excellent care of us. We arrived to pick up our steaks and we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the store, and how many selections they had. We got some black truffle butter to go with our steaks.

Fantastic experience!!! I've been to the HMM location in Seminole heights and joined their emailing list. A few weeks ago I received an email about a wild game, mainly kangaroo, cooking class. That piqued my interest. I reached out to a friend, who had just mentioned trying kangaroo. She was interested! I pre-purchased tickets on eventbrite. The class was on Sunday at 12noon and the weather could not have been more perfect! Chef Rocco had some great grilling tips and produced some phenomenal finished products! (The cooking class while only $30 has now cost me $180, as I had to go out and buy a sous vide machine!). While watching the cooking demo, HMM had a special guest, Kai, from Bold Rock Cider Company who was passing out different flavors of cider. (I typically don't drink ciders because of the sugar content.). Bold Rock doesn't add ANY additional sugars to any of their products. We tried all of their flavors, with apple being our favorite. Chef Roccos finished products, of venison, elk and kangaroo were all very tender! The sauces were to die for too! I told my friend had we been at home I would've liked the plate! (Not really, but OMG) To finish off the class we were given a special 15% discount in their store. The discount included the Bold Rock products as well. Win! Win! I highly recommend HMM for their quality and cooking classes. Sign up for their email list so you don't miss out on any delicious events.

This business has been open just 5 weeks. It's the sister market to the Seminole Heights location in Tampa. Two brothers are in charge of operations. Their butcher resides in Sarasota. Upon arrival, I was fortunate to meet & speak w/ Manager Makeena Click.Prices appeared quite standard for the variety & types of specialty meats sold here. For those on a limitless budget, this is the meat market for you! The market is also a great asset to have readily available for anyone hosting a dinner party. For the average Joe or Jane, unless you love meat & insist on top quality, this may not be the place you'll shop weekly. But it's definitely a market you'll want to browse for all the specality items you love. If you can't locate a product in one of the refrigerated cases, just know that specialty orders are welcomed. The rectangular interior of the shop is spotless. Seven floor-to-ceiling refrigerators run the length of one wall. Each is clearly marked "Premium," "Beef," "Pork," "Chicken," "Seafood," "Exotic," & "Game." There are a few extra foods tossed in, such as a variety of GRASSFED Banner butters (including sea salt, cinnamon cardamom, garlic, black truffle, white truffle, etc.).Near a back wall you'll find a display of three large Grill & Provisions Co. domed grills & charcoal (for sale) w/ two squared tree stands hosting sauce & seasonings-- thrown in for good measure (although nothing in this orderly empire is "thrown in"). There are at least 50 offerings, & you may request to sample each. I (& my restraint) walked out w/ just three items- a $22+ beef filet ($43.99 lb), pork chops ($6.15 lb), & beautifully-packaged garlic butter (to position atop my cooked steak:) This is what you're likely to find within the refrigerated cases (based on availability):CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF: (Prime) cowboy ribeye, (Prime) dry aged boneless ribeye, boneless ribeye, 3 bone beef plate ribs, flank steak, skirt steak, beef bones, brisket, sliced picanha, chuck roast, Denver steak, filet, flat iron, ground chuck patties, GRASSFED patties, hanger steak, NY strip, porterhouse, baseball-cut sirloin, Tomahawk ribeye, & tri tip.AMERICAN WAGYU BEEF: Brisket, filet, tri tip, whole picanha, hanger streak, ground patties, hotdogs, NY strip, sirloin, & sirloin flap. EXOTIC GAME: Duck, elk, venison, bison, wild boar, frog, gator, kangaroo, lamb, pheasant, python, quail, & rabbit. (I have yet to try python.)SEAFOOD: Poke cubes, Key West Shrimp, Red grouper, hogfish, Mahi Mahi, red snapper, salmon (Chile), Alaskan salmon, U10 scallops, & Yellowfin tunaNEVER EVER BRAND PORK from Warsaw, North Carolina (Villari Brothers--American Humane Certified): Boneless chops, baby back ribs, St Louis ribs, Boston butt, belly (sliced), tenderloin, Tomahawk chop, Lee & Davis smoked sausage, & Applewood bacon.JOYCE FARMS CHICKEN from Salem, North Carolina (Regenerative Farming): Breast, Breast medallions, drummettes, tenders, thigh, & whole. If meat &/or grilling is your passion, you REALLY need to stop in to check out this place! And if it's help w/ what type or cut to purchase, Makeena can surely assist. I learned more about steak (levels of quality) in ten minutes than I had in a lifetime! And now somehow I'm still ambivalent about whether I wish to share my delicious finds:)UPDATE: The BEST steak I've ever eaten-- pan seared, broiled, & then draped in garlic butter. If I could imagine dining atop a cloud w/ harp music in the background, this filet would come to mind-- soft, tender, juicy, w/ a delicate mild flavor:) Dang it-- now I never want USDA store-bought steak ever again:-(

So Ive been meaning to try the american waygu burgers, finally got a chance to run through and pick them up. I cooked them with salt and pepper and a served on simple broich bun. They are awesome! The burgers are large, I expected them to shrink alot based on the fat content, but I was surprised they really didnt shrink that much! Deliciious, I will be back to buy these again!

I had a great experience here. This isn't your traditional butcher shop. They specialize in prepackaged, higher end cuts of beef, high choice being their lowest grade, as well as exotic cuts. All of their beef is wet aged 21 days and they also offer 45 day dry aged, prime cuts, as well as wagyu. I bought a dry aged, prime tomahawk ribeye and the taste and quality and flavor profile were far beyond the steaks I've gotten anywhere else in the area. The staff was friendly and very knowledgable as well. Nothing kills a place for me more than a staff not knowing about their product, but these guys are passionate about beef! This is my new go to shop when I want the best steak dinner.

I always wanted to try this place because I heard about their exotic meats selection. I was fortunate enough to stop by on 10/30, when they had employees cooking sliders out front that were delicious. They also had a bucket that u pick a discount out of. I got 20% off my whole order

Love the Land O' Lakes location and I blame this place for making me gain weight since they opened. Great staff and the selection is fantastic. Hands down the beat steak I've ever cooked at my home. Don't go expecting cheap cuts of meat. When you want to splurge and do it right, this is this place to go.
