Hands down some of the best Cuban food I've had, and definitely the best in Highlands county. We're originally from Naples & grew up eating at Fernandez de bull and if you've ever been there you know it's good. Havana's food is just as good. Great prices & service. Very clean too which is huge for me (germaphobe)! You get a lot of food too - to the point I leave with leftovers (also a major plus!!). Had the ropa vieja & yuca frita both times I've been - both times were excellent! My sister had the Cuban sandwich & it was not skimpy on the meat! We also tried some of their pastries & desserts (chocolate cake, cannoli, rice pudding)- which again were great & very reasonably priced. The other restaurants in town need to take lessons from the owners here because when you have great food, portions, service & prices people come back! We will definitely be back again & again!! Just took my Mom for her Birthday (her request and she's BEYOND picky & boujee so if she likes it anyone will!!!)!

Wow! What a disappointment. Such great reviews. I was really surprised - really expected to find a GOOD Cuban restaurant. First, let me say that I am Cuban. Born in Cuba and raised mostly in Miami. Thus, I know Cuban food and Cuban restaurants. The food I had here was ok and I'll elaborate on that. But the reason for the two start was the SERVICE. It was one of the worst Service, I've ever had a restaurant. It seemed like the server was going out of his way to make it a bad dining experience. As I walked into restaurant, I was greeted and the server pointed for me to sit down at a dirty booth. The table was clean, but the seat was very dirty. Easily, clearly visible, crumbs and food on the bench. There is no way that the server could not see this. I swatted away with my hand the stuff on the bench so I could sit down.I sat down and ordered a water and their Palomilla steak platter. While waiting on the food, I was surprised that the restaurant did not provide free garlic bread with every meal. This is something that most GOOD Cuban restaurants do. It is an abomination for a Cuban table to not have bread. The server came over and plopped some silverware down and took off without saying a word. The food came out in a proper time frame, and I began eating and I noticed that I had no napkins. I waved down the server and asked for napkins and he said sure - took off to never return with napkins. I noticed some napkins at an empty table, got up and grabbed them. The Palomilla steak was mediocre at best, but the white rice and black beans were fantastic! Thus, the two star review. The bad service really warranted one star. Not once, during the meal, did the server come over to ask if everything was good, if I need anything, etc. When, I was about 3/4 finished eating, the server came over with the check, wanting to take payment on his electronic device. No questions about the meal, dessert or anything! He probably noticed that I was a bit taken back, when asked to stop eating my meal and pay, because he took off. When I finished and was ready to pay, I took out my credit card and put it on the table. At this time, I think I was being punished, for not paying earlier. The server passed me multiple times and went to other tables. Luckily, I had some stuff to do on my phone, so I was not in much of a hurry. I don't know - a good 7-10 minutes passed before the waiter came by. Picked up my card and put it into his machine with no conversation. Didn't mention what the total bill was or anything. I did leave a modest tip. I normally tip 30%, but not this time. The server said thanks and that was it. Well, I'll have to find a good Cuban restaurant in Sebring, since I am new to the area. But, at least I can cross this one off my list.

Been coming here for a few years, and enjoyed the delicious and generous portions of Cuban style food and excellent pastries. Our most recent visit was nothing short of disappointment. The baked pork was completely dried out, and the toastones were soft and half fried. Was told that a lot of their staff had quit, and that must have included the cook. We paid the bill and said our last goodbye.

This is my family's favorite breakfast spot in Sebring. All the waiters are extremely friendly. Their breakfast never disappoints.

So, what can you count on if you visit this fine establishment? You can bet Latin music will be playing in the background. Latin food at low prices. Can you say rice & beans and plantains? That wonderful Cuban bread and lots and lots of bakery items. Overall, you can count on a Latin experience especially at lunch or dinner!Arriving- They are in a large plaza on the northbound side of US Route 27. Look for the Micky D's and you're there! Simple parking with great handicapped spots for those folks that need a little help. Ambience- They are doing the best they can to give you a Latin-like experience, but they are limited by being in a cookie-cutter American plaza! There is an open feeling with booths around the edges and tables filling the center. The spacing is great. There is a bar that seats 6-8 along with a counter that is great for single diners. Latin décor on the walls. Not to be missed are the bakery cases! They are open for all three meals and this visit; I was there for breakfast. Customer Service- A little off this visit. It started fine. I was seated and had a menu and coffee quickly. Placing my order was a minor challenge as I don't speak Spanish, but I expected that and got it done. After my food arrived, I was ignored until it was time for the bill. This particular server needs to do better!Adult Libations- Beer & wine are available. Check out the specialty brews. Food- Breakfast is not a great example of the Latin dishes here as it is mostly standard American fare with a couple of Latin touches.I started with a Café con Leche. If that's new for you, it's similar to a latte but stronger and sweeter and delicious! For my meal I ordered an omelet with ham, onions, peppers and of course cheese. I laughed out loud when I discovered I could have French fries with it! See my pic. It also came with Cuban Toast. The pre-tip tab was $12.50 which is a steal! It came out quickly and yup, the fries were shoestring style and sure looked odd with the delicious omelet that was packed with filling. The toast needed to be browned a little more, but the bread was awesome! I was stuffed.A better Latin experience, with more traditional Latin dishes can be had at lunch or dinner. Overall, definitely worth a visit and an easy 4-stars.

Just ordered a breakfast sandwich with added bacon and potatoes, and was ready quickly for pickup. Got home and opened it up and was very satisfied with end result! Don't let it's flatness fool you, Cuban sandwiches from my experience is usually I guess pressed flat. Flavor was plentiful and the added ingredients was worth it! What was nice is that it didn't taste dry like other places. Fresh and the bread is always baked daily! You get what you pay for, so I wasn't expecting something cheap. Overall if your craving a nice fresh breakfast sandwich outside of fast food places, give this a shot!. Oh and what I ordered was the breakfast sandwich which included scrambled eggs with ham, cheese and I also got it with bacon and potatoes!

I'm a little divided on this one. The sandwich had excellent flavor and was freshly prepared. I couldn't find the cheese on it. The pork mixture was really nicely spiced but not in a traditional Cuban way. For a sandwich, it's a solid four. For an authentic Cuban, it's a three. The restaurant was clean and friendly. They had many nice options to choose from on the bakery side!

This place is huge. The staff were nice & my items were reasonably priced. I don't go to Sebring often & I had time to kill. So I Yelp the closet place for breakfast and this pop up. It was super close to my doctors appointment. I got my guava pastry & a cafe con leche. I was in and out in no time.
