Harveys Sandwich & Salads

A small local sandwich shop, run by what I presume are family or friends. The vibe was friendly and warm. My hubby and I stopped in because he had just given blood and needed food.We didn't have any expectations, and the place is a hole in the wall, but the food was good. Their Cuban Sandwich was amazing! Perfect Cuban flavors. It was odd that the pretzels were on a small plate, but that is probably cheaper than single bags of chips. I get it. It was just unconventional.My hubby had their big sandwich and he said it was fresh and delicious and the presentation was nice too. We will certainly come back!.

Harvey's is a staple in the neighborhood. At first look, they have pretty basic sandwiches. When you order one and take a bite, that basic sandwich becomes so much more. I am hooked on their egg salad. They put green olives on the sub. The taste is awesome. My husband loves there Cuban but will switch it up with the chicken salad. Add some potato or Mac salad and lunch is a success. Really nice couple own and work their restaurant. I hope you give them a try.

The food here is great, this business has been around for a long time and i can always count on good service and atmosphere in this location!

Very friendly staff greeted us and really made us feel welcome. The place is a simple basic deli style place with plenty of seating but on a weekday at lunchtime it seemed their biggest business was take out. Made sense considering their location in a strip mall off 29 with tons of business around. Hubby had chicken soup and a Cuban with chips. I ordered the BBQ Pork & Cheese on a croissant with potato salad. The Cuban was solid but nothing unique or special. The BBQ sandwich had a generous amount of meat and cheese and was delicious. Their potato salad really struck me - they use diced cucumber instead of the usual celery (which I usually have to pick out!). Gave it color and crunch without the the (ick) raw celery taste. Genius! We were running an errand that day and don't get up their way often but if we're ever in the neighborhood again we'll definitely look them up.

Michael and Marsha run an extraordinary eatery in the heart of Palm Harbor.Harvey's Sandwich has the freshest food I try to eat here at least once a day.Their subs and salads have really fresh meats and vegetables.After my sister tried the turkey sandwich it was a very big sandwich but big isn't always better.But TBH this was fresh turkey fresh lettuce and tomato.Speaking of tomatoes Micheal and Marsha get all their fresh tasting vegetables at farms where there freshly picked and held just for them.The BLT,Turkey the Cuban Roast beef and many other options are favorites with locals and visitors alike.The most friendliest staff and amazing food options is why I frequent this place so much.

I love a sandwich on a croissant, and was not disappointed!! Service was nice and quick, and food was delicious.

This is not a place to eat unless you have an hour for lunch! I stopped here for the first time due to the good reviews. I placed an order for me to eat their quickly while I waiting for my husbands to go order. There was only one other table in the restaurant and no other customers. It took them 30 minutes to get me my sandwich and all they had to do was reheat meatballs. The sub was burning hot and I could barely eat it. I had a few bites and asked for my husband's order. They proceeded to tell me that it hadn't been made yet. Instead, they made the order of a few customers that came in before me. This place is run by old people who can't run a restaurant efficiently. What a frustrating waste of my afternoon!

Best BLT I have ever eaten! I don't know what the secret is to make it so dang good but it really is delicious. They use the juiciest tomatoes too.This place is the definition of mom and pop shop. It really feels like you're in their kitchen waiting for a handmade sandwich. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because your sandwich sides are limited. You get a little bag of chips or some pretzels, that's it. But like it said, that's in true fashion mom and pop shop style. They also deliver!

BEST SANDWICH IN TOWN!!!The amount of meats to bread ratio is insane. The owners are also amazing people. No flashy fancy deli shop just straight To business. Just wishing found this sandwich spot long ago. Gonna be my go to spot. Had the turkey on croissant. Big daddy is next.

I love this neighborhood family owned lunch spot. I love the BLT and my husband prefers the egg salad.
