We got take out from here and I was surprised that it was pretty good. Lakeland doesn't have any really good Chinese places, this one will do. Didn't get anything unusual, moo goo and broccoli beef and egg rolls, naturally. This is our Chinese place now.

This is the best Chinese food I've found in Lakeland hands down! We ordered 3 different meals and everything was great! Will definitely be ordering again!

While we were sick, we ordered food from HH two times in two days, and we were very impressed. The food was good, hot fresh, and the Hot and Sour Soup was the best I've had in LKLD.

Giant portions. General Tso's chicken was actually spicy like it supposed to be. Loved the egg drop soup mixed with Wontons. Live .4 miles away and just tried them. Great surprise especially since I have been driving 2 to 3 miles for Chinese food. My wife told me to mention the 4 times the amount of cream cheese in the fried cheese homemade Wontons. Also enjoyed the boneless spareribs. Can't believe it took me 2 years to try this place. I read some reviews that were not very good but I believe those people should try them again.Great

We just ordered on June 9th 2024 and it was great. Food was still steaming hot even after picking up and a 15 minute drive home. We ordered general tso, garlic beef and sugar donuts. All was amazing and exactly what we expected. Our pickup time was estimated 20-25 minutes and at 20 minutes from my call, my order was on the counter and waiting. This was our first time ordering from Happy House and we will definitely be ordering again in the future

Food was great and hot, the lomein sometimes has been dry but other than that, this is our local takeout place we order from. The young school aged girl at the counter could be a little more friendlier:(

I live in Tallahassee, FL. My parents had a very special anniversary. They live in an active retirement apt. Azalea Retirement. They said it was great having meals delivered, but they missed the restaurants due to COVID restrictions. I decided to get them Chinese food food . They loved the idea. So I even wrote to UberEats driver that does the order to Happy House this was a special occasion. Get it right! They got it on time but they couldn't eat it as it was awful. Hard, dry rubbery chicken. Nothing was as anticipated. Bad tasting for their 30th anniversary. From reviews, I wanted to use ThePekingHouse.com. I had an UberEats $30 promotional offer. When I did that, the bait and switch came into play, said Peking House not available, pick another. When I wasn't using the coupon, Peking House was available. I tried for quite some time. I hate feeling like I was not informed. It took a long time. Definitely a hide the peanut deal. UberEats did not put any "notice"... if they did, I missed it. What a big effort for a special day and huge letdown!!!My advice, as I knew zip about either place, relying and hoping that it would be great; it wasn't. So forget the "deal??" by UberEats and pay to get good quality food. Ruined a special gift on their big day!! I was embarrassed but it was not a Happy House. Rely on many reviews. I wondered if there is a special deal with UberEats and Happy House??? Just be forewarned. I guess you get what you pay for. Bill would have been $49 but only cost $18: Beef lomen, bourbon chicken, wonton soup, egg rolls, I paid for two fortune cookies, house fried rice.
