I joined my friend for her Birthday celebration on Friday night. We were sat oustide, our table.of 15 took up the upper patio near the bar, it was a perfect evening outside, but we felt sorry for our waiter as he didnt have a helper, and had additional tables. Its Ok thoug! The wait staff worked great as a team. Different folks helped bring out the food to the table in a well choreographed dance.I had the Buffalo Alligator bites and I had the scallops. Both were tasty and delicious. Im not sure what was in the sauce on the scallops, it was familiar but not at the smae time. So, so good!

Mostly outdoor seating with only about 12 tables inside. We had made a reservation for outdoor seating. They sat us at a table but the music was too loud. We moved to the outdoor bar and had dinner there, a bit quieter. We had the grilled oysters and Fried Green Tomatoes to start, both were excellent. A light batter on the Tomatoes was perfect. We then had the Hogfish, Shrimp N Grits and Buffalo Alligator. All were great except the Alligator. It had a heavy sauce and heavy batter that made the gator soggy. All in all, great service and food. Will definitely go back, but will sit by the bar.

Went on Saturday night and surprisingly the the same band was there as last year. They are good however too loud to hold a conversation - the waitress sat another table and stated it's the loudest band they have. Honestly if they turned down the medic just a smidge it would be more enjoyable as they are a great band. The outdoor seating is very cute and they allow dogs which is a huge win. The food was only OK this time. It all felt over seasoned. Specifically the entrees were just too saltyTo start with each appetizer - the N'awlins Grilled Gulf Oysters had nice flavor however were just very small oysters. - the Shotgun Shrimp very very good. They have a kick to them so if you can't handle spice these are not for you. - the best apps we got were the chorizo, Prada and the fried grouper and chipsThe grouper was the most disappointing of the two. The fish was small and over seasoned. The dish had uncle Ben's white rice and teriyaki sauce drenched in the sauce The second entry was MUCH better but again say too much salt. Scallops over masses potatoes with a lovely mushroom sauce. I am not sure about going again given the price and the disappointment in the food. If I did I would ask them to really focus on the salt and get the sauces on the side. The rest of our party had ribs and the 1/2 chicken they said they were OK with ribs being the better of the choices.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! From the ambiance to the service and the food. Best meal I have had in Tarpon hands down. Best meal I've had in a long time period....My husband and I came here with our friend for his birthday and tried a variety of items on the menu. Apps (sorry we dug in before I remembered to take photos) the burrata was next level with the steak addition. The spinach & artichoke dip was the best I've ever had no joke. Scallops, Wagyu and Butterfish as our entrees. All 10/10 flavorful and phenomenal. Desserts: flourless chocolate cake was amazing with the raspberry flavor and the bread pudding was delectable. Mouth watering every bite! Cocktails were spectacular. Highly recommend the old fashion! Come try this place for yourself! You won't be disappointed! Our server Todd was also awesome! Wonderful service and overall experience.

I've finally found a restaurant that serves good Creole Cajun cuisine. It's too bad this place is super small (maybe 12 tables) and getting reservations is difficult. However, we were able to get in late on a Saturday night. While we were waiting, we sat at the bar and chatted with the friendly bartenders who made good suggestions for entrees and appetizers. They were not wrong. The fried hogfish appetizer is ridiculously good with it's flavorful light coating of bread and butter like texture of the fish itself. (If you ever have the opportunity to get hog fish, do it! It's seasonal and found mostly in the Keys and southern parts of Florida.) It's paired so well with a sweet slaw and crispy house made chips. The soft shell crab and crawfish linguine is good but the star of the dish is the soft shell crab, coated in a light layer similar to the hog fish. The vodka cream sauce gets lost and I think a butter lemon sauce might taste better. The pork belly with red beans and rice is fat on fat but in a good way! I'm sadly doing dry January but the bartender made a drink called "Mr. Caliente" that sounded good. It was a mix of tequila, home made hot sauce, agave, tea, and jalapenos. The beer selection looked good as well. The Bourbon pecan pie wasn't spectacular but the coffee I ordered with it was a perfect accompaniment. The chicory flavor of the coffee brought out the sweetness of the pie. Service was good and friendly. You have to request the complmentary bread basket and butter. They have outdoor seating. There is no designated parking lot. Street parking is avaliable but sparse. Hopefully we'll be back again because a plate of bread pudding and another of fried green tomatoes caught my eye.... and of course, the Mr. Caliente!

There is no better restaurant to get authentic New Orleans cuisine. Music fills the whole redturant, but great sitting outside. Wait staff are on top of everything, are fun and the drinks are great. Fun, good and music. Cannot beat H'Ours in Tarpon Springs

The food here is just average, but the service is quite good. The reservation system is super dated. Many of the items are premixed as if it were from scratch with each order, I could have requested more items and had them no pork. I ended up with the Caesar salad, but neglected to read the description entirely and it had some funky relish all through it. I then got the lobster appetizer which was good, but was low in quantity of meat. Nice ambiance with the live band.

While our food items were okay, the service was among the worst restaurant experiences we've had. Menu pricing seems to be a suggestion instead of an accurate picture of your bill with unpredictable surcharges that they just invented to hike up the bill. When we questioned this, they said this was a normal bar practice and created a scene so we had to leave. Further in speaking with friends who ate there last night, they agreed that service was horrendous and met with snarky comments from management instead of a more appropriate apology. Word of caution: In reading some of the 5-star reviews on this page, they seem false and certainly are not consistent with our experience. Good luck if you choose to eat there. You can make most of the items at home and enjoy it a lot better.

Ok this is definitely one of the most unique eating experiences I've had in Tarpon thus far. I ate here during Mardi Gras, and I can't wait to eat here again! The food is absolutely audacious and fantastic. Very flavorful, very spicy for the most part. The menu changes very quickly on a weekly basis (I think) so there's always gonna be something new here. It's a brilliant idea, and can't help but appreciate itThe waiters here are friendly, explanatory, and the environment happens to be at a house so it literally feels like you're at someone's house cooking for you. It's expensive, but let me tell you, if you like exotic cooking this is a good spot!
