Gyros & Seafood Express

I would recommend this place any day of the week I have eaten there on a Monday and a Wednesday or a Friday and I thought the food was amazing every time I ate there I would recommend this place 100%.Fish MealFiletsJumbo Garlic Shrimp TrayFried Shrimp

The food at this place caused me to get food poisoning. I got the 5 piece with fries and a coke. One or all of those things tore my stomach up. The food was at least hot, but fresh... not even thirty minutes later, I felt my stomach bubbling... Lord-have-mer-say!

I ordered delivery and received 20 nickel sized shrimp swimming in a watery fire sauce. It was so unappetizing that I couldn't finish it. If I could place a negative star I would.

Visiting from Georgia and my husband wanted a gyro. They were crowded so I knew they were going to be good. Customer service was good. Food- we both ordered gyros, which they cook to order. The meat inside wasn't hot, sauce, onions and tomatoes. I'm used to them having lettuce so was taken aback when mine was minus lettuce. Fries were hot and good, black beans and rice were ok, no season which is surprising because black people were cooking it. All in all the food was ok.

This South Side St. Pete joint is reflectively inexpensive. It has gone through several changes over the years. Think fried and steamed seafood. Popular items are Build Your Own Meal and Build Your Own Seafood Meal. Wings (Boneless Included), Burgers and Garlic Crabs are on the menu. The seafood stuff: Mussels, Crawfish, Scallops(Bay), Oysters, Calamari, SnowCrabs, Fish and Shrimp. Philly Steaks, Fried Chicken, hand cut Chicken Strips and one of the best Gyros around finish this vast menu. And to drift you back into down home goodness, they have Gizzards! Not for everyone but they are very good. I think my Cardiologist sat up and started speaking in tongues when I ordered it. The good thing about Gyros & SeaFood you can get almost any item grilled or fried. Sides include Onion Rings, Yellow Rice & Black Beans, Okra, Coleslaw and the ubiquitous French Fries. Shakes are not hand made but I hear they're tasty. And you can't have fried SeaFood without a Coke or Sweet Tea; luckily they have both. This is not a high end or even midrange SeaFood joint. But the food is reasonably priced and good!

Umm...it's okay. I'm probably not going to come here again because it's not as good as the other gyro places in the area. The man at the window was very kind but it doesn't make up for mediocre food. I only ordered lemon pepper wings and a rice bowl with garlic shrimp, black beans, and sautéed veggies--however, I replaced the rice with lettuce because I'm limiting my carbs intake. The rice bowl turned salad was fine. I can't judge too harshly because I changed the whole meal into a salad, but I just thought the shrimp and black beans could've been better seasoned. I thought they were both pretty bland. The wings are SWIMMING in grease. They taste good and the flavor is there but you can't get paste the grease leaking everywhere. Maybe I should've had something else like a gyro. ‍

One of my favorite places to eat but you will wait in line for awhile due to everything being made fresh. I never have issues with my orders unless the associate is new.My favorites are the cheesesteaks ,wings,fried shrimp,chicken tenders and don't forget the brownies

I got from ubereats. Ive eaten from countless restaurants, and have never seen food just swimming in a pool of grease. Not just one item, but every item. It also seems to be the same ingredients are used from the wings, to the scallops, to the mussels. Absolutely shameful. Putting hot pepperflakes on everything doesnt make it flavorful. Somebody needs to go to cooking school to understand the fundamentals of seasoning. Id be surprised to see this restaurant still in business in a year if they do nothing to improve. Needs some sort of consultation with a chef like Gordon Ramsay, he would've thrown a fit, and did exactly what I did, threw it in the trash. What a waste of food

Great food! Especially at 1am. Hot, fresh, and very good. The Gyros are huge, and the Cajun fries and onion rings are great too. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in St. Pete.
